Such a one, I salute & bow to You in reverence. OR Sri mahAlakshmi has four braids in her hair. She is worshipped by fourfaced brahma and other gods. Four vedAs extoll her qualities. Thanks for the great posting. I just have a couple of

basic queries on these.

 

Goddess Mahalakshmi has an Aprakru^ta shareera unlike

mortals, so how can physical attributes like nine

openings, nose, limbs, etc be attributed to Her? Or

is it a poetic metaphor by the composer (in this case

our beloved Shri Vadirajaru) in his description of the

Goddess?

Is it for the benefit of lower souls so that we can

visualize Her in all glory and then worshipping Her in

that manner will help fetch immense results.

 

Please clarify.
