Namaste every one!!

I m curious to understand the meaning, significance and science behind the word

Swaha.? It is not just some mythological background that I am looking for,

something tantric and scientific ( assuming I am using te right word).

I some how want to believe that the syllables " sa " and " wa " in that word belong

to moolaadhaara and ha belongs to Ajna chakras.? Thus, is it correct to assume

that swaha is an attempt to jumpstart the energy flow and get to ajna from

muladhara directly?? Is this the reason why homam is that much more powerful

than archana?

Please forgive me if I am sounding too logical which in a way goes against the

ultimate truth.

With a million thanks and warm regards,

Sankara

Dear Shankar,

Namaskaar,

" Swaha " is a sanskrit word. Its origin

is in from the word su. It refers to hailing a

deity and surrendering to the deity. It

is used when making offerings to

various deities. Like, I surrender myself

(ego) to you (deity).

The knowledge about Swahaa would be incomplete without knowing Swadhaa.

Both are considered the wives of Lord Agni

The adepts would not impart the secrets associated with it in open group but

you would come to know fully about it as if you progress in Sadhana.

Namaste,

There is some more information here: http://www.vedmandir.com/node/101

which includes this: " Swaha word is full of several qualities like to

love all leaving behind discrimination, ravages of hatred, adopt

truth, give up falsehood, etc., etc., etc. So Swaha is Vani which

preaches truth and other virtues like love for humanity etc. It is not

out of place to mention here that if " Swaha " word could have been used

in Yajyen daily, uptil now then it could have settled in the mind of

all human beings to love truth and follow the truth only and with the

result there could have been no casteism, hatred, worship of several

man made Gods, corruption, insult of women, militancy, poverty,

division of earth into several nations etc., etc. "

paulie

namaste-

Swaha means " I bow to you "

A good mantra for you to raise Shakti kundalini fast

is to say " OM SHREEM HREEM KLEEM AIM KUL KUNDALINIYAY SWAHA "

Aim is like aiming a gun and kul is like cool

It is a high energy mantra and will make you feel happy and uplifted

Blessings to you!

Om Shakti

Namaste,

Hmmm, I don't know that I really need to raise any kundalini at the

moment but I do love looking back at that little tidbit that I found

online.

" love all leaving behind discrimination, ravages of hatred "

I think the world could use a whole lot more of that.
