meet the Peethadhipathy or you may alternatively meet Bhuvaneshwari peetham in Ambattur, Chennai but my Gurunathar does not encourage in general Prathyangira Sadhana. Not that we do not conduct homas or japas but that it is done in rarity.Yours yogically,Shreeram BalijepalliRajarajeshwari_Kalpataru , "prkerala" <sandesh_menon wrote:>> Hi,> I am a grate devotee of pratyangira devi. Dear Member,

http://jaibhuvaneswari.org/

Please see this site for contact details.

Also, Mala mantras, Moolamantras (much less homas) of any deity MUST

NEVER be attempted by listening to just CDs or reading from books.

Initiation/Deeksha is a must.

I repeat, Prathyangira Maha sadhana is like playing with fire. Iam

not dissuading you but I advice you caution.

Finding a guru in this path and restraining one's emotions is a must.

Pratyangira is a combo of the Athyugra and Teevra Shaktis of Shiva,

Shakti and Narayana.

She is variously called Jwalaavatara of Mahasudarshana and holds the

Narasimha, Sharabeshwara and Paraamba shakthis manifest in Her.

As I mentioned before, this is no joke.By reading some sensational

stuff on her online or in some book please do not venture to do some

bold yet assinine thing.

To do her Homa requires purascharana of her Atharvana Veda Mantra.

(Beeja samputitha)also it is made easy by only a poorna deeksha into

Srividya because Bala then can be used as controlling factor. Also,

Prathyangira devi according to my gurunathar(and also Lalitha

sahasranama) is used as a warrior Goddess by Lalitha Parameshwari,

thus for a Srividya Upasaka, Prathyangira becomes a possibility.

Bala and Gayathri upasanas are required for this Fearsome deity.

According to Pratyangira Kalpa of Akasha Bhairava Tantra, equal

number of Sharabha Japa is also necessary. The side effects of this

mantra are severe.

Let me put here the words of my spiritual friend Harsha

Ramamurthyji's own words when he does the Upasana:

" To quote a personal example, every year during Shishira Ritu, I

undertake this purashcharana for a month. During this time, skin gets

charred, eyes turn red, there is severe acidity and a sense of a huge

entity residing within. By the end of Purashcharana, it becomes so

overpowering that thousands of Bala mantra Japa becomes necessary to

calm Sri Paramba. Pratyangira Devi destroys all Abhicharas, Kritrimas

and can break most of the known Krityas. Without complete guidance

from an accomplished master, Pratyangira Upasana simply measn risking

one's life. The easier way is to worship Sri Lalitamba through the

divine Sahasranama. By simply doing this, one gets protection from

Pratyangira, Sharabheshwara, Varahi and Martanda Bhairava "

I have warned you...

Rest I leave it to your Good godself,

Shreeram Balijepalli
