Guest guest
Dear Narasimha,In your manual on Tarpana, you have mentioned some restrictions i.e. it should not be performed in the house on most days (with some exceptions e.g. Amavasaya, pitri paksha etc.) and not use sesame seeds on certain days e.g. Nanda tithi on Fridays.I live in an apartment building and cannot do tarpana outside...I have been doing it inside the house during this pitri paksha fortnight but not sure about this evening...The day started with Amavasya tithi prevailing at sunrise but now it is pratipada (US EST)...so should I take the tithi prevailing at sunrise or the one prevailing now for the purpose of tarpana?Thank you.sincerely,Chandraprakash

Guest guest
Dear Sir, Can you please explain, if it is necessary to have your Kulom, Gothram and Nakshatram given during the Archana? If it is so, why is it necessary. Sorry, you may have answered this questions before, but I have not received a comprehensive answer to this yet. Appreciate your answer.
