Should the Ganesh Idol puja and Homam be done as separate rituals? 3. If I perform Homam in front of the Ganesh Idol after the puja is it ok? 4. But, when you can combine the pooja & homam together. 4. I guess if you are performing the pooja & homam separately, please divide the prasadam (before offering) and offer them separately. Please go through the homam procedure manual and follow it. You can see that you can easily combine the two.
