As Utpal pointed out, Akshaya Tritiya is coming up on Monday (27th). It is a great day. It is the day when Ganga came to earth. It is a very very very fruitful day for spiritual sadhana or for starting new spiritual practices. In general, the first half of Vaisakha month that starts this Saturday (25th) is very auspicious for spiritual sadhana. All the best to those who want to start homam or something else during this time!
