Guest guest
Dear all, I have a few questions which I hope to get the answers here. A = do homams for all gods daily B = do homams daily according to the ruling day god C = do Ganesha's homams daily too Should I do option " A " daily ? or option " B " + " C " ? or should it be option " A " + " C " ? Please help me in clearing my confusion. I am very confused at the moment. Last but not least, I would like to thanks PVR.N.Rao ji for his infinite contributions (all what he've been doing so far). I really appreciate this kind sense of spreading bhakti to people. Regards, anooj
Guest guest
Dear Anooj, I dont know about your background, but, typically, for most of us, we would either not be performing any of the homams or at best performing or participating in it once in a year. So, our next step should be practical and enable us to cultivate the niyama of performing it everyday without any obstacles. Keeping this in mind, I myself started performing Mahaganapathi Homam everyday. Doing homam for all gods can be cumbersome and more importantly to introduce the concept of niyama, which includes sticking to one god. So, options a & b are ruled out. I suggest c. Guest guest
Namaste, As Narayan says, A and B are inefficient and C is the best. I can actually suggest D - pick any one deity (e.g. Rama, Krishna, Shiva, Ganapathi etc) and do homam to that deity everyday (or every week). If one wants water, one should dig in one place as deep as one can. Instead of digging two feet in 10 places, it is better to dig 20 feet in one place. The chance of finding water is higher then.
