Very interesting to say the least. You say that astrological knowledge has been lost/corrupted is imperfect etc..No doubt it is, especially in this day and age. My question to you then, if you have a moment; what do you think of the Jyotirlinga Mantras as remedies (done sincerely), are these " valid " mantras or just something made up, based off of corrupted knowledge? Are jyotirlinga mantras discussed in any ancient literature and/or Mantra Mahodadhi? I only ask out of sincere curiosity, not to instigate things further. I respect your opinion highly. The article seems to support Omkareshwar as one of the few, true Jyotirlingas. The crux of my question: Does " Om Namah Shivaya Namo Omkareshwaraya " have any historical precedent or is it merely constructed from the knowledge of one parampara (right or wrong who am I to say)? My point was that this parampara was wrong in teaching that there are complex formulas and standardization and their knowledge alone is correct and others will get results slowly. Change the mantra to " Om namah shivaaya namah Omkaareshwaraaya " . Namah does not become namo in this context. What you wrote is grammatically incorrect. Am I correct in assuming that " Omkareshwaraya " is actually pronounced " Onkaareshwaraaya " , I know this is not exact and I am not sure how to type out the sound of " On " , the middle-back of the tongue is hitting the roof of the mouth when making the sound- so one is not pronouncing the " M " by putting the lips together?
