Question: Need Homam Scripts in Telugu, if possible

Hello PVR Gaaru,

 

If possible can you please forward me the Telugu scripts of the Homam.

 

Daily I hear and see your Ganapathi homam downloaded from google, and

became a fan follower, trust me. This has become a habit for the past

couple of months.

 

I guess, if I do Homam on my own will get benefited, hence this

request. Currently I'm going through Sade Sathi period, want to do

both Ganapathi Homam and Sani Homam.

 

I'm worried to do Homam on my own as I may mis-spell the mantras, as

I'm not profecient with Hindi. I have observed some difference between

Hindi and English scripts, hence requesting you to forward me the

Telugu Homam Scripts if you have and if possible.

I understand and appreciate this request.

 

ITranslator software from Omkaranand Ashram in Himalayas supports Devanagari

script and Roman script and has support for Vedic intonation marks.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of any software for Telugu or other Indian

languages which allows entering intonation marks. The commercial iLeap

software from C-DAC is good - one can type the text once in English and then

get it in all Indian languages. But it has no support for intonation marks.

 

If someone can volunteer to type all the mantras in Telugu (or Tamil or

Gujarati etc) in iLeap or some other software and save various pieces of

mantra text as gif pictures and manually add intonation marks (one or two

vertical lines on top or a horizontal line at bottom) in all mantras, it is

possible to replace the Devanagari and Roman text in manual with those

pictures. In fact, if one can translate the entire manual into Telugu and

other languages and paste the mantras saved as pictures as mentioned

earlier, it is then possible to have manuals completely in various Indian

languages. If anybody is interested and has time and energy and understands

what I am saying, they can volunteer.

Thank you very much for the valuable links. Now mantras in homam manuals can be given in multiple Indian languages. I will take care of it in time. If anyone wants to translate the entire document(s) into a particular language, please send me a private email. I already have a volunteer who wants to translate Mahaganapathi homam manual into Telugu.

Shri NarsimhajiNamaskaarI happened to read this email after long time.. wherein you have shown your desire to convert homam manual in to native languages.. I would be happy if you can convert shri mahaganapathi homam manual in to my mother tongue i.e. in gujarati so others who are not vell versed with english can perform homam reading manual in gujarati..
