Guest guest
|om namo bhagavate venkatesaaya|Dear Friends,Yesterday night, a lady came to invite me for her wedding. Sometime back, in the college where we both work, I had promised to give that lady a mantra for being blessed with a worthy spouse. This promise was made just before the winter vacation started. At that time, I spoke to her and told her that I will give a mantra. Initially at that time, I had mentally determined to give her the mantra the same day I spoke to her. But at the time of speaking, a sudden impulse came into my mind and I then told her that I will not give the mantra immediately but only after the winter vacation ended. I was puzzled over why on a sudden whim, I changed the time of honoring the promise I made to her. Now in retrospect, I realize why! The promise was now rendered unnecessary and I realize that God in his wise & gracious way changed the time of my promise. Perhaps this is the meaning of a God-tuned mind but as Narasimha said, it requires people with a very low degree of ego consciousness to implement perfectly what God wishes to do. That is why satsang with holy & realized people is very important so that we all can benefit from God's grace.best regardsHari
