Dattatreya is the son of Atri Maharshi and he is believed to be born with the combined amsas of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. He is a great yogi and " Avadhoota Gita " by him is a marvelous book. Today is a great day for spiritual sadhana, for taking any vows related to spiritual sadhana and for starting any new spiritual sadhana. My best wishes to all of you for a blessed Dattatreya Jayanti!
