Guest guest
Dear Sir, I would like to share one of my great Devine experience about shri Ramkrishnadev. This is an unbelievable experience that I have had. I have not added anything from my own. I am writing exactly as was happened in my life. I am going back to the period of 1973/74. Kindly read this only when you are in religious mood. I was working as telegraphist at Okha Port Post office near Dwarka. My duty was from 7 am to 7 pm and I was getting late fee allowance for extra duty. There was a Telephone exchange just opposite to Post office and due to same Dep’t; I had friendship with some Telephone operators. One Mr. Ramanbhai Patel, (we will call him as Mr. Patel) was working as Operator. He was a staunch devotee of shri Ramkrishnadev. Whenever I was meeting him he was always talking about shri Thakur. We came close day by day. There was a weekly gathering at his home called SATSANGA. He was singing devotional songs created by him and was weeping while singing. He was reading Ramkrishna Kathamrita. We 10 to 12 youngsters were attending this weekly meeting on Saturday evening. I was then 24 years old. Mr. Patel was of 30 then. We were used to go to seashore daily at 7 pm after duty hours and were talking only about Thakur. One day when we were at sea shore he suddenly told me--“Rawalbhai, some guest have come to my home and my wife is remembering me. My son will come in a few minutes to call me. I shall have to go nowâ€. -- And with my surprise his 8 years old son came to call him. At one another incident he told me that there will be a plane crash tomorrow and that also happened. I was very much impressed about him. He could foresee the events. One day I had to go to Dwarka by Bus, he told me not to go through bus, as bus tire will be punctured. Yet I went to Bus station but bus did not come from Dwarka as was punctured on the way. This was surprising. This all incidents made me to believe that he had some super power and this was due to Ramkrishandev worship only. I was attracted to shri Thakur. One day I thought, I should also be disciple of shri Thakur and the day came. It was 4/4/1974. At 7 pm I surrendered myself to Thakur at Mr. Patel’s house before Thakur picture. I prayed him deeply from my heart to accept me as his follower and bestow his grace. Next day morning I had a discussion with my wife at 6.10 morning while taking the tea. As my duty was to start from 7 am I was waking up at 5.45 morning. I told to my wife in the morning that I have accepted Shri Ramkrishnadev as my Gurudev. My wife was annoyed and she argued with me a lot. —“Why should you take such a hasty decision? Ramkrishna Paramhamsa was a devotee of Maa Kali at Calcutta. He was a great Saint but our Guru should be living one, who can guide us, give us Mantra etc. etc. Better you take Dixa from Shri Ram Sharma Acharya since you are doing Gayatri Mantraâ€--. Her arguments were right at her place as people in general not know much about Thakur and I was confused. I thought-- yes I have taken hasty decision. I was in the influence of Mr. Patel. -- But I remember that Mr. Patel had told me that Thakur was telling their disciples to test him before accepting him. I also decided to test Thakur. I immediately told my wife that –“See, Mr. Patel has never come to our home. You have also not seen him. He has never asked me where I am living. Suppose Mr. Patel is coming to our house within 10 to 15 minutes, would you believe that my selection for Thakur is perfect?â€-- She laughed at me—“How it is possible? I don’t believe.â€-- I prayed Shri Thakur to send Mr. Patel immediately to justify my decision and convince my wife. ‘I want to test your existence even today.’ To our great surprise, Mr. Patel was at my home at 06.30 in the morning with angry mood. What he told? ‘ How dare you test Thakur this way? Do you know what happened? Yesterday was my night duty and I had just come to my home at 05.30 mornings today and tried to sleep for 1 or 2 hours. Suddenly Thakur pulled my blanket and told me that-“ Go to your friend’s house. He is waiting for you. He wants to test me. I will show you his house†I immediately rushed to your home. Thakur was guiding me the way to your house and pushing me too. What you want? Why you are disturbing him in such an early morning for such a silly things?’ We both were so excited and surprised that we had no words that Morning. I will never forget that 5th April, a miracle day in my life. There were some more Devine experiences about Shri Thakur but I will write it sometime. Dear Sir, and forum members, Ramkrishandev is still alive on the earth. This is a fact I have written and no word is added to exaggerate. May Shri Thakur bless all of us. Guest guest
Dear Ashwin ji, It is a very interesting episode you have narrated! Thank you for sharing it. After Ramakrishna left his body, several people saw him in embodied form. That is entirely possible. When someone who did not identify with a body but identified with the entire universe lives in a body and leaves, it is not like he has left. He is still there, in every atom and in everything. If someone is attached to him with that body of his and he has compassion for that person, he *can* give darshan to that person in that body. It is not that he is "alive" or "dead". It is just that he is in every atom or sub-atomic particle of this creation because he has realized the true nature of Self while living in the previous body and that realization was intact even while leaving that body. According to Sarada Mata, Ramakrishna told her and Lakshmi that he would be back after 100 years and that all of them would have to be reborn when he is reborn after 100 years. Thus, he may have already come to earth in a different body. But that does not matter. Those who have an attachment to Ramakrishna and stuck at the lower level form may still be able to access his previous form. Even after the form of Rama left this world and the form of Krishna was born, a devotee of Rama who does great tapascharya for Rama may be able to realize a darshan of the form of Rama. Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was almost certainly an avatara. Guest guest
Sri Rawal ji, Namaskar. How fortunate you are to have experienced the miracle of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa!!! Despite skeptics coming out with diverse explanations for such *experiences* it can be best comprehended and appreciated by sadhaks with *faith* in the Absolute Truth that He is. Guest guest
Dear Narsimhaji, I have joined this group for last one year. I have read your valuable articles on this site. I also knew that you are the lover and follower of Shri Shri Thakur. This was the reason I wrote this mail on Thakur. I have narrated this incident to very few people who are loving Thakur and when I told this incident they all were weeping. But I am sorry that your mail disappointed me. You have given analysis of this incident on intellectual level or it was more logical and less devotional. I was expecting the excitement in your mail but you just justified that it is possible as our faith is working...!!! Dear Sir, for your information I would write that when this incident happened I was not knowing Thakur, nor was any devotion towards Him. It was due to Mr. Patel I had just taken the decision to accept HIM as my Guru. I was also upset in the morning after discussion with my wife and started thinking that my decision was hasty. I just taken a chance as I was told by Mr. Patel that you can test Thakur before you accept him as your Guru. I remembered his words that morning and told my wife that if my decision is right, Mr. Patel should come to my house. I was not knowing then actually Mr. Patel will come to my place within 10 minutes and Thakur will show him the way to my home. You have written that Thakur might have taken rebirth after 100 years. I think this was his desire and not necessary he is already born now.It is His will to take 100 years or 150 years for re-birth. I am now strongly believe that Thakur is still alive on earth because my another incidents are also leading me to believe that He is coming to this earth. Mr. Patel was experiencing him very offen. It was a miracle and whenever I remember this day I am excited. I am not his staunch devotee even today but still He is with me, He loves me rather. Guest guest
Hello, I have just joined this group few days ago. I am in a Jyotish group as well where Narasimha Rao also writes on spiritual subjects. I have noticed several years ago, from his writings and his personal experiences that there is some special grace on him. I only thought about it --nothing else. Some weeks ago he described in Jyotish group, how he is helping to promote, methods of Haven due to Direct Guidance of Divine Mother. Also Divine Mother appeared to him or to other people after a haven. I saw this letter and thought, how and where Divine Mother appeared and how many people saw Her and what else happened. But I did not write any thing about it. And some days later DIVINE MOTHER appeared in my inner sky. Wow wow I could not believe it. And made some mistake due to my personal health problems and did not offer immediate prayers and devotion. So She became invisible. Then I realised what I was seeing was true. So day before yesterday I offered my devotions and so able to see Her again. I have joined this group as well and good to see many spiritual experience which are full of Light and Love. Guest guest
Namaste Ashwin ji, Well, I am truly sorry that I disappointed you. Thakur isn't an ordinary being. Giving samadhi to a highly logical person (logical mind is a great obstacle) like Naren just by a mere touch is no ordinary feat. He not only experienced sahaja samadhi himself, which is off limits for even great siddhas, but induced it in Naren for a few days by the power of his thought. All these are signs of a being of the highest class. Knowing what kind a being Ramakrishna is, I am not too surprised or excited by what you said. I am really and genuinely sorry that you expected a different reaction from me. But I don't feign a reaction that I do not really feel. I am really sorry. What you described IS a miracle. I do not doubt it at all. I am sorry if I gave that impression. * * * Honestly, when I read several of the miraculous deeds of Ramakrishna, I do not feel much excitement or emotion. I don't know why. On the other hand, simple episodes like how he cried and begged Vivekananda not to leave make me weep. He transformed Naren from an overly logical young boy to a mature man with the highest vairagya and he gave Naren many tremendous spiritual experiences. Later Vivekananda said that the "mad brahmin" transformed him and made him who he was. He said Ramakrishna could have created 100 Vivekanandas from dirt! Yet, Ramakrishna did not feel any entitlement or ownership and, instead, he cried and begged his disciple to not leave and do the Mother's work. What a pure and sattwik soul! When I think of his attitude, I get goosebumps. When I read how he simply left the premises when told by a representative of Mathur that he was dismissed and had to leave the temple and how he came back as if nothing happned when Mathur came and fell at his feet and how he behaved the same way as if nothing happened in both cases is a practical demonstration of what Krishna taught in Gita. When I read about that, I melt in emotion. Thus, simple episodes bringing out the attitude of Thakur and illustrate how a sthita prajna described by Krishna in Gita behaves excite me. The things about Ramakrishna that excite me, make me weep and make me emotional may be a little different from some other people. Bottomline is that Thakur exictes both of us. Perhaps there are different aspects of Thakur that we are attached to and attracted to. But the good thing is that we are both attracted to him. * * * Suppose what he said to Sarada Mata was only a "desire" and it did not happen. Suppose he is reborn after 150 years and has not yet come back. My point is that even then some people may have experiences of seeing his old embodied form, even as he exists on earth in a different body. * * * Again, I am sincerely sorry for disappointing a sincere and blessed devotee of Thakur. :-( Best regards,NarasimhaDo a Short Homam Yourself: http://www.VedicAstrologer.org/homamDo Pitri Tarpanas Yourself: http://www.VedicAstrologer.org/tarpanaSpirituality: Free Jyotish lessons (MP3): http://vedicastro.home.comcast.netFree Jyotish software (Windows): http://www.VedicAstrologer.orgSri Jagannath Centre (SJC) website: http://www.SriJagannath.org - Ashwin Rawal Friday, November 07, 2008 12:09 PM Re: Re: Shri Shri THAKUR is still alive today Dear Narsimhaji, I have joined this group for last one year. Guest guest
Dear Sir, Thanks for prompt answer and good clarification. I am really an admirer of your spiritual articles and I have started Homam too after reading your experiences. No doubt, I am a moody person so not doing Homam regularly.( I believe that to continue the rituals without break and to stick to any disciplin, Saturn must be in the Asc. or with Moon or Saturn's strong aspect on Asc. is must.- sorry for astrology, please excuse me here). I am satisfied with your answer now. I will write my other experiences in near future. All are unique, when I think today. Dr.Ashwin Rawal--- On Sat, 8/11/08, Narasimha P.V.R. Rao <pvr wrote: Narasimha P.V.R. Rao <pvr Re: Shri Shri THAKUR is still alive today Date: Saturday, 8 November, 2008, 7:08 AM Namaste Ashwin ji, Well, I am truly sorry that I disappointed you. :-( Best regards,Narasimha------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ---------Do a Short Homam Yourself: http://www.VedicAst rologer.org/ homamDo Pitri Tarpanas Yourself: http://www.VedicAst rologer.org/ tarpanaSpirituality: http://groups. / group/vedic- wisdomFree Jyotish lessons (MP3): http://vedicastro. home.comcast. netFree Jyotish software (Windows): http://www.VedicAst rologer.orgSri Jagannath Centre (SJC) website: http://www.SriJagan nath.org------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- - Ashwin Rawal Friday, November 07, 2008 12:09 PM Re: Re: Shri Shri THAKUR is still alive today Dear Narsimhaji, I have joined this group for last one year. I was expecting the excitement in your mail but you just justified that it is possible as our faith is working...!! ! I would like to mention something that may be an interesting insight. You mentioned Pt Shriram Sharma Acharya. He actually said in his autobiography ( Hamari Virasat aur Vasiyat, My Inheritances and Will, loosely translated) that once when he was 14 years old and sitting for his Morning Sandhya, a divine figure appeared, guru Sarweshwaranandji. His Guru then made him realise his past lives and gave him the work for this life. He took him back as in a flash to the past. He realised that he had been born as Thakur, before that Saint Kabir and before that Guru of Chatrapati Shivaji, Guru Ramdass. I will try to locate the exact link and send it.The general site is www.awgp.org I remember the book is there on pdf in English somewhere online. It's in the very first few chapters. Guest guest
Namaste Utpal, My best wishes to all on the occasion of Ksheeraabdhi Dwaadashi! One of the two saints could be Thakur. It is also possible that neither is Thakur. Bottomline is that it does not really matter! If you are attracted to Thakur and his teachings, benefit from them. Beings like Thakur are born out of free volition and out of compassion for other beings. They are the playmates of the Mother and are reborn as a part of Her plan. They are born to show the path to others. However, there are many paths. In each life, they may take up a different mission and demonstrate different paths to people through their teachings and deeds. If you like the teachings of such a being in a specific birth, due to some rina with the path taught in that birth, follow the teachings of that birth. Who else the same being was in other births is not that relevant or useful. If you are attracted to the teachings of any saint - Ramakrishna Paramahamsa or Shriram Sharma Acharya or Yogeshwar ji or Ramana Maharshi or Aurobindo or Srila Prabhupada or Akkalkot Maharaj or Sai Baba or Kabir or Samartha Ramadas or Jnaneshwar Maharaj or Chaitanya Mahaprabhu or Ramanujacharya or Raghavedra Swami or Gautama Buddha or Jesus Christ or whoever, follow the teachings of that saint and benefit from them. Other speculative things about them may be interesting, but can turn out to be a mere distraction. Find the teachings and path that attracts you the most. Read the teachings. More importantly, try to *walk* the path. Imbibe the teachings in your thinking and in your common sense. Your actions and thoughts should reflect the teachings. Focus on the teachings of the saint, digest them fully and base your thoughts and actions on them. * * * Regarding Ramakrishna, I want to say one thing. The extent to which he imbibed the upanishadic philosophy in his thoughts and actions, the depth of his sense of surrender to the Mother and the absolute lack of personal ego in him are the real miracles to me. Other miracles are useful to instill faith and confidence in some people. But they do not do justice to his personality. In fact, Swami Vivekananda was very conscious of possibly limiting Thakur's personality to a bunch of miracles and was concerned if books on him would be able to do justice to his personality. If Ramakrishna Paramahamsa tranformed a bunch of youngsters into spiritual giants who affected the spirituality of generations and if Srila Prabhupada transformed many fallen souls into excellent saints who changed the world, it was possible because of their *total* surrender to the Lord and the zeroness of their personal ego. *That* is a true miracle. I do not want to downplay the discussion of other tangible miracles. But I do not want people to lose track of the crux of the matter. Ramakrishna could do miracles because he had no ego and surrendered fully to Her. *She* did everything for him. As I said earlier, a person with normal ego can do some things; a person with very little personal ego can do tremendous things; and, a person with *no* personal ego can do *any* thing. Our goal should be to eradicate personal ego through constant vigilance and total surrender. Sri Sri Ravishankar is the one who i know to be a really great spiritual teacher, however i found my guru in you. I highly appreciate your clarity of thoughts and found many simmilarity in our attitude and thoughts over years, however i know for sure that there is a big gulf between our level of consciousness. through some of your messages on list as well as personla mails, i am completely convinced about one thing which is mentioned below - Barometer of spiritual growth is the reduction of I ness (limited ego) viz-a-viz increase of surrender. the feeling of being an instrument in the hand of Mother/god/nature increases what i am still not convinced about is that the possibility of not experiencing any *tangiable* extraordinary expereinces but still one is really making good progress? If i think rationally and take the experiences of others than it is quite clear that the spiritual growth invariably comes along with some out of the world and tangiable experiences. this some times temporarily disappoints me. i feel that i'll never be convinced unless i get the concrete proof of the subtle world. Guest guest
Dear Sir, I have read that chapter. I have always faith on such great souls. But the problem and confusion is I have read 3 autobiographies, including Shri Ram Sharmaji wherein it is mentioned that the authors were Thakur himself in their previous birth. Two were from Gujarat. One was Swami yogeshwarji who lived his life in Himalayas and other was Mr. Nathalal from Gondal, Saurashtra, Gujarat. I have met all these three. All were on very high state of mind and living spiritual life. It is beyond our capacity to judge what is right and what is hallucination...! As Mr. Narsimhaji told I believe only Thakur as he is alive for me today.Dr.Ashwin Rawal--- On Sun, 9/11/08, Shiv <theblisswithin wrote: Shiv <theblisswithin Re: Shri Shri THAKUR is still alive today Date: Sunday, 9 November, 2008, 9:19 PM Respected AshwinjiThis is a very good and inspiring thread. Guest guest
Namaste Both these are very credible saints. Sri Yogeshwar was a very highly realized saint. His book is very good. He does mention about his prevoius birth and also mentions that Saccha Baba had also confirmed the same thing. Saccha Baba was another very highly realized saint too. Sri Yogeshwar had many times visions of Sai Baba of shirdi and Naamdev and also many other saints too. The initiation he got on the bank of river Narmada awakened his kundalini and he has described very accurately the state and symptoms after awekaning of kunalini. He had very good command on all aspects of sprituality and was a fantastic orator. His followers have done a very good job of putting up the web site and sharing the information for free both audio and books. Chiti Leela or the play of Shakti or God is very complex, Ramakrishna may have taken birth as more than one person and in future may take more births. His comsic body (karan sharir) or whatever name others use pardon my lack of appropriate word, is also alive and manifest from time to time After reading this and other books, I feel that each one of us has a inner guru along with our atma and this inner guru in conjunction with our accumulated or sanchit sankaras give us visions of these mahatmas or help us attach or attract to a Saint or some aspects of the saint more than others. This inner guru is the same in all humam beings but manifests uniquely based on each person. I also believe that one needs to get initiated by a Guru who is present in physical form and seek guidance from him time to time. There are many instances of other forms of inititations like initiation in dream or inititation by cosmic forms, these forms of initiations though very important are very rare or uncommon. After reading Sri Yogeshwar's book I had some questions pop up in my mind about him. 1) What was the purpose of his birth? Yes he may have guided many spiritual aspirants, but there has to be something more unique. 2) Did he realize the ultimate? i.e. he keeps mentioning in the book about it in many places? Was he satisfied? How did he feel after that? 3) He did pass away abruptly in bombay while in the middle of giving spirtual talks? It seems unusual. I have also read somewhere that once a person reaches a spiritual state, he cannot remain in human body for more than few days, was this the case? May be others who have read this book can share more light. I do recommend to seekers of spirutuality to read this book if one has time, it is available for free to download as a pdf book on his web site. Sri Ram Sharma also has done a lot of work for the betterment and upliftment, a lot of his information is wellknown. He spread the Devi Gayatri mantra/homa and other things in a big way all around india. I feel like I have not even begun my spiritual journey which is very very long too and many obstacles in the path. Guest guest
|| Om Lokaah Samastaah Sukhino Bhavantuh || Does it matter at all who is whose reincarnation? And anyway, how will you distinguish when *those* very folks have gone beyond the meaning of " I " ? What you can only do (well, at least, IMHO) is consider yourself blessed to read about or be part of their lives... One part of me is skeptical whenever someone claims to be a reincarnation of someone else, on the other hand we are all a part of Divinity, so why bother arguing over trivial things. What the Learned say is to pick one, and surrender yourself totally. Me, I cant figure out who to pick to surrender to... :-) Just my opinion, I could be wrong, and I say it with all due respect... Guest guest
Miteshji, I had attended seminars of Yukteshwarji when he was alive. I had read one book in Gujarati- Prakash Na Panthe -. this book is not available anywhere now. I want this book . Can you help please ? What website you have mentioned ?Dr.Ashwin Rawal--- On Tue, 11/11/08, m540i98 <m540i98 wrote: m540i98 <m540i98 Re: Shri Shri THAKUR is still alive today Date: Tuesday, 11 November, 2008, 3:09 AM NamasteBoth these are very credible saints. Sri Yogeshwar was a very highlyrealized saint. His book is very good. He does mention about hisprevoius birth and also mentions that Saccha Baba had also confirmedthe same thing. Saccha Baba was another very highly realized saint too.Sri Yogeshwar had many times visions of Sai Baba of shirdi and Naamdevand also many other saints too. The initiation he got on the bank ofriver Narmada awakened his kundalini and he has described veryaccurately the state and symptoms after awekaning of kunalini. He hadvery good command on all aspects of sprituality and was a fantasticorator. His followers have done a very good job of putting up the website and sharing the information for free both audio and books.Chiti Leela or the play of Shakti or God is very complex, Ramakrishnamay have taken birth as more than one person and in future may takemore births. His comsic body (karan sharir) or whatever name others use pardon mylack of appropriate word, is also alive and manifest from time to timeAfter reading this and other books, I feel that each one of us has ainner guru along with our atma and this inner guru in conjunction withour accumulated or sanchit sankaras give us visions of these mahatmasor help us attach or attract to a Saint or some aspects of the saintmore than others. This inner guru is the same in all humam beings butmanifests uniquely based on each person. I also believe that one needs to get initiated by a Guru who ispresent in physical form and seek guidance from him time to time. There are many instances of other forms of inititations likeinitiation in dream or inititation by cosmic forms, these forms ofinitiations though very important are very rare or uncommon. After reading Sri Yogeshwar's book I had some questions pop up in mymind about him.1) What was the purpose of his birth? Yes he may have guided manyspiritual aspirants, but there has to be something more unique.2) Did he realize the ultimate? i.e. he keeps mentioning in the bookabout it in many places? Was he satisfied? How did he feel after that?3) He did pass away abruptly in bombay while in the middle of givingspirtual talks? It seems unusual.I have also read somewhere that once a person reaches a spiritualstate, he cannot remain in human body for more than few days, was thisthe case?May be others who have read this book can share more light.I do recommend to seekers of spirutuality to read this book if one hastime, it is available for free to download as a pdf book on his web site.Sri Ram Sharma also has done a lot of work for the betterment andupliftment, a lot of his information is wellknown. He spread the DeviGayatri mantra/homa and other things in a big way all around india.I feel like I have not even begun my spiritual journey which is veryvery long too and many obstacles in the path.Best RegardsMitesh, "utpal pathak" <vedic_pathak@ ...>wrote:>> Namaste,> > one Gayatri Upaasaka told me many years back that Shri Ram Sharma > Acharya was born as Thakur Ramkrishna in previous life.> > Another as intresting as well as equally confusing thing is that > Late Shri Yogeshwarji (A Gujarati yogi) had also revealtion about > his past life and he also indirectly indicated in his biography that > he was Thakur Ramkrishna in the previous birth.> > Yours,> > Utpal > > I know> > > , "Shiv" <theblisswithin@ > > wrote:> >> > Respected Ashwinji> > This is a very good and inspiring thread. > > I would like to mention something that may be an interesting > insight.> > You mentioned Pt Shriram Sharma Acharya. Guest guest
Dear Miteshji, Where can I get the information regarding those 3 saints? I don't know Gujarati. I am even more interested to read about the kundalini awakening state of Sri Yogeshwarji. Kumar , " m540i98 " <m540i98 wrote: > > Namaste > > Both these are very credible saints. Guest guest
Namaste I heard a lecture from his web site where he describes about the signs in a sadhak when kundalini is awakened and also in his book too. If you want to read more about kundalini shakti and awakening than I recommend some of the books as follows: The first book in english came out from Swami Vishnutirth Maharaj. He wrote it in english and then his successor Swami Shivom Tirth Maharaj wrote some very good books there are about 8 or 10 books. Swami Shivom Tirth Maharaj just passed away this year and his last book is " Last Journey " or in hindi " antim charan " just came out a few month ago. On Kundalini Shakti and Shaktipat this parampara has been one of the very reputed ones. One of his books " Chiti Leela " is a very good book that describes the Kundalini Shakti and its working and the experiances of different chakra bedhans etc. Vishnitirth Maharaj wrote also some sutras on kundalini Shakti. Even Swami Muktanand Maharaj of Ganeshpuri did refer to Swami Vishnutirth maharaj's book and his guru Brahamchari Yoganand Maharaj. His book " Chiti Leela " is very good too. He was also a very authentic saint. From this same lineage there were also some masters in Maharastra one Shri Gulvani Maharaj who was also a disciple of Shri Vasudevanand Sarawati -- the famous master from Dattatreya lineage. Gulvani Maharaj was a contemporary of Vishnutirth Maharaj and he was initiated into Shaktipat by Shri Loknath Tirth Maharaj. There is still one direct disciple of Shri Loknath Tirth Maharaj going by name of shri Kaka. These lineages are originally from Kashmir Shaivism. I believe one Saint Laksman Joo from kashmir has written a couple of books on Kunadlini Shakti too. These are also good books too. Mother Lal or Devi Laleshwari the very famous devi from kashmir was also from the same lineage as Shri Vishnutirth Maharaj, although she happened many centuries ago. Apart from above I believe the Nath Sampradaya also is very adept in Kundalini Awakening. I donot have any information of present saints in this lineage. Some of the books by Swami Shivom Tirth Maharaj are available on Amazon.com. (in engish too) here in US in India there are many ashrams where one can get these books. Same with Swami Muktanand Maharaj's books too. In short after one makes lots of effort like hath yoga or mantra yoga or even homans or kriya yoga, there is a chance that kundalini shakti can awaken or the other way is by the grace of guru when he initiates a disciple. The above saints initiated their disciples and awakened kundalini. Paramhans Ramakrishna had that capability too and he had awakened kundalini shakti of Swami Vivekanand and other disciples of him. Raman Maharshi also had similar capabilities too. I am sure there are many other saints who are very adapt in it. Hope this information helps. Guest guest
Namaste, > It is beyond our capacity to judge what is right and what is hallucination...! Absolutely. > As Mr. Narsimhaji told I believe only Thakur as he is alive for me today. That is the correct thing to do. When Thakur gave you tangible indications of his presence and blessings, there is no reason to believe in somebody else. Even if Thakur is reborn as someone else, you can stick to Thakur. In fact, if Thakur really wants you to get in touch with him in his newer form, he will probably show you a pramaana. When Lord Rama came back to earth as Lord Krishna, the great bear Jambavantha did not know it. He continued to worship Rama. Krishna came to him, fought a battle with him and then revealed his true nature as Rama's new birth. Until that happened, Jambavanta was right to continue worshipping Rama. In fact, he would be correct to worship Rama even after Krishna revealed his true nature! He actually said in hisautobiography ( Hamari Virasat aur Vasiyat, My Inheritances and Will, loosely translated) that once when he was 14 years old and sitting forhis Morning Sandhya, a divine figure appeared, guruSarweshwaranandji. One Mr. Ramanbhai Patel, (we will call him as Mr. Patel)was working as Operator. He was a staunch devotee of shriRamkrishnadev. Whenever I was meeting him he was always talking aboutshri Thakur. We came close day by day. There was a weekly gathering athis home called SATSANGA. He was singing devotional songs created byhim and was weeping while singing. He was reading RamkrishnaKathamrita. We 10 to 12 youngsters were attending this weekly meetingon Saturday evening. I was then 24 years old. Mr. Patel was of 30then.
