Guest guest
Dear Sir, MahaLakshmi Ashtottadashnaam (108 Names) can be recited without saying 'Swaha'. Infact Narasimha Garu is eciting 108 Names for 108 times Every Friday for last 13 years or so.. I think you can recite either 108 Names or SriSukt or Mahalakshmi Ashtakam or anyother prayer....the point is stcking to one generally and consistency. just for the inspiration. regards Utpal , " dahiyajiten " <dahiyajiten wrote: > > Namaste > > > 1) If i can't perform the homama of Mahalaksmi > can i perform the chanting of mahalakshmi ashtakam > or 108 names or sri sooktam(any one of them) > > are they allowed for daily chanting or they are for homam purpose only > > and if yes , then even while chanting them mentally > di i have to speak SVAHA also > > 2) though i will chant them whatever intonation will come easy to me > but if any of the group member knows their correct intonation > and if possibly can record them > then please, its my request, do let me know >
Guest guest
Namaste, 1. Yes, you can do japa of any of them. Remove swaha when doing japam. 2. Sree sooktam has an intonation, which is marked in the Mahalakshmi homam document. Other two have no intonation, i.e. you can read as you want.
