Dear Members

I have heard the two following verses from various sources and they

are quite famous too!

" Sarve bhavantu sukhina, sarve santu niramaya,

sarve bhadrani pashayantu, maa kashchid-dukhabhavbhaveta! "

And Vasudiva Kutumvakam

Which scriptures mention these two verses, can someone please provide

me the names?

-Regards

Rajarshi

Dear Upal

Maha Upanishad chapter 5 verse 71 is given as follows..

"‘Experience lived through Knowledgeably alone proves satisfactory. The thief recognised and befriended is no longer a thief but turns out to be a friend."..

http://www.celextel.org/108upanishads/maha.html?page=3

Also the brihararaynaka upanishad 1.4.14 contains a different verse.

Can you please check if I am making a mistake or is there some other verse in these upanishads which mention these prayers..

-Regards

Rajarshi
