Guest guest
soul neither commands neither demands. Mind is to analyse and to get confused. Intellect decides upon the issues presented by mind. Hence the thinker is an individual who has source power of pure soul, and yet is jeevatma, who is bound with worldly bonds.A muktama thinks but never gets bound with them. Thinking of a jeevatma and thinking of a muktatma has fundamental difference of darkened intellect and enlighted intellect. --- On Fri, 2/10/09, semiliterates <no_reply > wrote: semiliterates <no_reply > Re: Question-54 who thinks in yourself Friday, 2 October, 2009, 8:10 PM I guess it is the mind under the command of the soul. @ s.com, " jitendra k " <jtin_ja > wrote: > > HARE RAM, HARE KRISHNA > > Is it very easy or very difficult question for you > > Who is thinker in yourself > > HARE RAM, HARE RAM, RAM RAM, HARE HARE, HARE KRISHNA, HARE KRISHNA, KRISHNA KRISHNA, HARE HARE > Connect more, do more and share more with India Mail. The question is: who is the " yourself " ? > > - HARE RAM, HARE KRISHNA Very well asked Sir that who is yourself Because in spritualism the meaning varies from person to person and everybody may be right Self are of two types Pure SELF Impure Self The definition of yourself means, what do you understand about you who are you what are you why are you why you are here and Yourself means what is the State , functions, Shape, size,Gunas, Knowledge etc...... of your follwoing faculties Chitta Intellect Mind Senses Body and after that there is a state whether you have started recognising that thought is created from Maya(Impure self) of from Divine (Pure self). So everybody understand himself as different yourself. And most importantly When one enters into divinity He feels experience. If one has not experienced, no matter how many logic you can produce, He will not understand. But even after getting experience logics works but with extended range. But i need to think whether mind is the correct answer or not. Because I thought Intellect thinks about something. Jitendarji, maybe we can ask: What are thoughts? Is there such a thing as " my thoughts " ? I read somewhere, thoughts have a life of their own, they float around from person to person. We identify with these thoughts, & hence get stuck in mud of Karma. A story I have written about before was once when I got angry & sad about single mothers who leave their children to work. Then suddenly, I felt strange- why was I thinking about this, when Im not a single Mom, & neither do I know anyone! I looked around, & saw a woman sitting next to me, she was looking at her babys photo- she had had to leave her baby with grandparents to work, & she seemed very sad. I had picked up her thoughts, & thought they were mine. In this case, I knew these couldnt be my thoughts. But how many times in a day we pick up other peoples garbage thoughts, & pass them as ours! Thats why I ask- is there such a thing as " our " thoughts, or our thoughts living beings, that move from person to person, & we give permission to these thoughts to entertain us? luv, s
Guest guest
Yes, Sir, I entirely agree with your perception, you have said it, illustrated it, beautifully too. , shanracer <no_reply wrote: > > > > , " jitendra k " <jtin_ja@> wrote: > > > But i need to think whether mind is the correct answer or not. >Because I thought Intellect thinks about something. > > Jitendarji, maybe we can ask: What are thoughts? It is also true that if i think that these thoughts are mine than they become part of myself (own karmas)as you said that they have limited life. As you said thoughts are everywhere around us, in the same way thoughts are inside too everywhere. Thoughts are with body, senses, mind, intellect, consciousness ...etc So if mind is the answer others also may be.................. Our creation is done from a word AUM. The words are everywhere. Second question is----Why do we think. Is thinking is necessary for all including a person like Sri Ram Krishan Param Hansa ,who attained Moksha( fredom from death and birth)and who is free from Maya. Great Yogis have conquered the mind, so they only think when they have to, which is usually when they want to deal with the material world. The mind is important, as it allows us to deal with the world of duality & movement, very well. The problem is not the mind, but the fact we have no control over it, we cant switch it " off " when we want to. What do you think? luv, s
Guest guest
Jituji, my thought is we think because we have no option- thoughts attack us non stop, & we have no power over them. > -------------------- HARE RAM, HARE KRISHNA Thanks for a beautiful reply Sir Ji, perhaps we are having confusion, There is too much difference in thought and thinking. You are right Sir, that thought comes all the times in that person who is in control of Maya. Thinking is the process and thought is the carrier of some information in the form words which could convey something. In Hindi Thinking means -- Sochana Thought means -- sankalp sankalp bina soch ke bhi aap ke andar aa sakta hai ( maya ke vasibhoot) par soch kar bhi sankalp aata hai to soch ko ham thinking samajhate hain. Thinking is a process but who thinks There is third word - Chintan Now perhaps i am able to clear my question and sorry for inconvenience caused due to my poor language as a whole and please again think and reply - who is the thinker And also thanks to Udai Sir for replying that Jeevatama is the thinker. But If jeevatama is the thinker than Pure Self is the thinker AND hence Pure consciousness, Pure Intellect, Pure mind, ,,,,,,,,, are also thinker. But perhaps that is also not true. because in trans State we do not think. i am with the Pure intellect as the answer of thinker. pLEASE COMMENT A REQUEST FOR ALL THE SADHAKAS HARE RAM, HARE RAM, RAM RAM, HARE HARE, HARE KRISHNA, HARE KRISHNA, KRISHNA KRISHNA, HARE HARE
