Guest guest
among the karma, raja ,gyana, bhakthi yoga which one leads to ultimate bliss if they are all same which one is easy these ere the questions that haunted me for a long time and i tried almost all of them each of them gave intense pleasure of satisfaction and each had almost the same effect but after discovering gynana is unlimited and it's quest can never be completed as there are so many scripts and in so many langauges.but i started seeing some common points in them like god is just one almighty power with many rays, images and vibrations that are concieved by indivdualls regarding to thier perception level every-one finally says kneal before him as he is all powerful and for different wishes and purposes you have different dieties and worships bhakthi on other hand helps to be with god by making your body a devise for service(bhajana, aarthi, japa, tapa all are done by and need body) and mind to concentrate and become part of him or atlest come close to him raja yoga ,which i am now trying to follow presently after persuing above, is much more tough for me it needs to be practiced by being a family man and remaining a heretic at heart karma yoga was the step for me before raja yoga . doing the deeds without expecting anything was good but detention from work was not always easy as we expect to get the work done proerly to get the result in our favour but hen i stated doing things thinking them as my duty for society and god it became easy. just did work in a way i could best do taking ny advice that came by after just giving it a thought . Just remember: 1. Gyan Yoga is not just reading of scriptures, & understanding them at an intellectual level. They must become a part of you. If you say God is everything, you must not cry when you lose everything, including any spiritual progress you have made. 2. Bhakti Yoga is not just fanatical worship of 1 deity to detriment of all others. Like Gyan Yoga, it is a state of being where one sees one istha devtaa in everyone & everything, just like in Gyan Yoga one sees the power of conciousness behind everything. 3. Karma Yoga is not just mechanical doing of what we think is our Karma- it is the acceptance that whatever path a higher force has chosen for us is the best, & we have to follow it willingly & with cheer, not because we are forced to. Raja/Hatha Yoga are the practical means to implement the 3 Yogas above, If you getting calm mind/good nights sleep/healthy body etc(which is how Yoga is marketed), but not the above 3, then you are doing somethin wrong. luv, s
Guest guest
Divine Friend, Karma (selfless work), Gyaana(Divine knowledge) and Bhakti (Devotion) yogas illustrated in Shrimad Bhagavad Gita are true ways of life, thinking and worship to lead spiritual life. Each one is complete in itself and still related to each other for realization of Self as well as the God. These are above all religions, faiths and any other differences of opinions. Any one in this Universe can acquire complete knowledge of particular God, do one's work for self and others in the society selflessly with any discrimination or grudge( pride & prejudice). One can devote one's life for religion / faith with love and compassion to all with perception of equality and godliness in every one. After all, though we are not brothers and sisters of each other by relation of blood but by relation of a fact that our creator father is one. This establishes universal brotherhood & sisterhood under divine fatherhood of The God. This is real devotion. To see onself in all beings and all beings in onself widens the scope of thinking to reduce discrimination for castes, colours, creeds, nations and all. The whole gloge is one village and more to say one abode of all. Thanks and regards. , kmavilla <no_reply wrote: > > among the karma, raja ,gyana, bhakthi yoga which one leads to ultimate bliss >
