Guest guest
(from prev -post) Janak sita's father the king of videha was a truly amazing man. He had so purified the fire element within him that he used to sit on the throne with one foot resting in a blazing fire, but it would not burn him. When Rama comes to his court for swaymbar of sita, he was given Lord Shiva's bow to bend, which no one else was able to do. When Ram first bent it and then broke the bow, Janak realized that Rama was meant to marry sita. Esoterically this is something which is hard to be told in words…just one that the bow actually relates to the medulla oblongata. Soon Ram and Sita prepare for the jungle and Lakshman decides to go with them – how can the power of concentration be separated from the soul and the ego ?When Kundalini unites with the soul the two withdraw from the senses, which wither and die from lack of shakti. And thus Dashratha died very soon after Rama left. Dashratha means, ten chariots…which means ten sense organs. All would have been well with Ram and sita had not Sita fallen prey to curiosity and disobeyed the orders of Lakshaman. Which is precisely meant ; just because our kundalini starts to get awakened does not mean that the job is over. In fact our job is just beginning. Because she strayed from perfect concentration and she went out of the circle of morals drawn by Laxman, Sita was abducted by Ravan….the lower ego. Ravan, the demon king who abducted Sita represents the limited personality which constantly contemplates its greateness.. " I " am everything… I am lord of Lanka. Here Lanka too has a spiritual meaning. Lanka is actually made from " Lam " the beeja mantra of earth element and for Muladhara Chakra. Ravan's ten heads represent 10 sense organs. He propritiates shiva by chopping off these heads, means that he forcibly restrained his sense organs from perceiving anything but Shiva. He is great yogi, but since his motives are selfish, he is called a demon. (to contineu...)
Guest guest
 OMNAMONARAYANAYA Excellent revelation Aumji ! How did Sriram and Sita both being incarnates of Narayan and Lakshmi stray out of pious command of Lakshman ? Or is it possibly to test Ravan`s ego and put an end to it ?. ijswamy ~SWAMY http://gjnanaswarup.spaces.live.com/blog/ --- On Fri, 8/7/09, aumji <no_reply > wrote: F (from prev -post) All would have been well with Ram and sita had not Sita fallen prey to curiosity and disobeyed the orders of Lakshaman. To kill Ravan it was necessary to get sita abducted, otherwise there was no reason to invade Lanka. also it denotes the immature, beginner sadhaka, where the power of kundalini is misused by crossing the limits set for sadhna Aum
Guest guest
So Rama lost sita (kundalini Shakti) to a formidable foe; the limited, demonic human personality which wants to use her for its own gratification. Rama had to wander far and wide before he could find any trace of Sita just as a sadhaka searches untiringly for Kundalini Shakti, once she has self-identified with limited ego. Lakshman who is one pointed concentration which helped Rama regain his bride, was his brother's only companion, until they met Hanumanji who immediately enlisted in Rama's service. Hanuman is Prana shakti, the son of god Vayu…. The Pavan-putra. Properly harnessed, prana clears Kundalini's path to return to her Lord, which is what Hanuman did for Ram at every step. Hanumanji flew to Lanka, found Sita and assured her that Ram was coming to rescue her. Before returning to Ram, he allows himself to be captured and taken before Ravan to make him aware the gravity of the situation. But Ravan did not understand but burnt the tail of Hanuman….. and with the help of that tail, Hanuman burn Lanka. Lanka stands for the Muladhara chakra, as I already wrote. Here Hanumanji (Pran-shakti) burns the bad / negative energies in Muladhara chakra…. The first step to take Kundalini out of Muladhara chakra. Then he comes back to Ram and then Hanuman with other vanaras make the bridge to reach Lanka… the Setu – Bandhan. Here the sea denotes the swadhisthana chakra whose element is water. So the Hanuman who is a celibate only he can cross this chakra without being disturbed, but here the Pran Shakti makes a sort of bridge that the sadhaka may enter Muladhara chakra without being disturbed by the sexual feelings of swadhisthana chakra. After Ravan was killed and Sita restored to Ram.. similarly in the body of a sadhaka the fire element becomes totally purified. Sita giving fire test is that Kundalini has to pass through Manipura Chakra ( whose master element is fire)… after passing through this fire of Jathara Agni and turning it into Bhuta Agni… sita (Kundalini) is now free to unite with her husband Shri Ram Jai shri Ram (As learnt from swami vimlananda) NOW A QUESTION FROM OUR WISE FRIENDS HERE : What is the spiritual significance of Hanuman tearing his chest and showing Ram & sita inside his chest ??? So Aumji, since few or none of us natural celibates like Hanuman, how do we build the bridge to cross Swadhistan? Shantnu

When we do pranayam, we actually worship Hanumanji and when prana is under control... it takes us to muladhara without getting disturbed by sex lust etc. Aum
