Vijayji, in many new age groups, & some Indian groups as well, the Kundalni is just thought of as some weird energy to be manipulated & used for ourself. The Kundalni is a lot more than that. Feeling tingling in spine, seeing lights/visions, having OBE/astral travels, having psychic powers(good or bad), seeing God in dream- None of these are signs of Kundalni awakening, even though they are advertised as such, in both India & the West. Kundalni awakening is a life changing experience - it usually leads to partial or full enlightenment. Usually, Kundalni awakening is the very last stage of Yoga, when one finally gets Moksha. In some people, she awakens, but them goes back to sleep in Muladhar- this happens with people whom God wants to use as Guru, but who still have some Karma left, so they cannot get final moksha. Such people may get partial enlightenment- they may attain self realistion, but it may not be concrete, or they may attain to God in only 1 form, not in His entirety. It might take 40 years, 40 lives, or 40,000 lives before Kundalni awakes- but awake she will. But she will only awake when she wants to- there is nothing we can do to raise our Kundalni- in a way all Yogas are useless. But we still do Yoga, since when our time comes, when god is finally happy with us, we must be prepared to recieve grace. Sri Aurobindo wrote " At times, God comes knocking on peoples doors. Woe upon then, who are asleep when their time comes. But twice woe upon them, who are awake, but misuse the moment for their selfish, egoistical needs. In the hour of God, be awake " . So, keep walking on the path! And remember, God is looking after you. luv, Shantnu
Guest guest
jai gurudev kundalini awakening means awakening of the divine godhead in ourself, means the egoless and supremely blissful state. there r various mantras for doing so,and these r mentioned in rudrayamal tantra. i am practicing these regularly and find the divine bliss very profounding life changing caming and delightful,ie words dont seem enought to explain the divine experience. we realsie we r part of the unfinite divinity and this itself is jeevan mukta moksha,ie getting salvation when still alive. this experience is for all those who seek the truth. a proper guru can initiate one into this.i have had the saubhagya of being guided by a guru and he has helped me a lot. om shakti gopal On 7/27/09, vijaykesavelu <vijaykesavelu wrote: > > > > I started practising sudharshan kriya. will it awaken my kundalini energy > by 40 days of practise. > > >
Guest guest
Vijayji, Whether those people who taught sudarshan kriya has said that the kundlini will get awakened after 40 days? If it is so, there are chances. Her awakening needs blessings of sadguru, punya of last birth. Only awakening the kundlini is not the ultimate target. One has to let her to reach at adnya chakra and then beyond it. After she starts movements, one has to do lot of meditation, since her movements through various chakras is necessary. She purifies and enhances everything like body, mind, etc which comes in her way. The mind becomes " unmana " means floating and that is why one can enter into other planes. If Methodically practised under proper sadguru (master ), kundlini shaking is possible within 40 days. The further progress needs more time. --- On Mon, 27/7/09, vijaykesavelu <vijaykesavelu wrote: vijaykesavelu <vijaykesavelu sudharshan kriya Monday, 27 July, 2009, 8:09 PM I started practising sudharshan kriya. will it awaken my kundalini energy by 40 days of practise.
