Guest guest
Reference my old posts about 10 Mahavidyas. Someone had confirmed to me that temples of all ten mahavidayas lie in Himachal & Garhwal making a Yantra if seen from above. since then I had been searching hard for locating these temples. With Devi's blessings I started getting news about where-abouts of these temples and finally i got the following ones and visited there, feeling the great Energies of Mahavidyas :- 1- Kali ==>Chamunda Devi temple (Himachal Pradesh) 2- Baglamukhi ==> Baglamukhi temple (Una-Dharmshala Road, HP) 3- Chhinmastaka ==> Chintapurni temple(Himachal) 4- Dhumavati ==> Jwalaji Temple (jwalamukhi, HP) 5- Tara ==> Tara Temple near Jwalamukhi 6- Shodashi /Tripurasundari => Brajeswari Devi temple Kangra, HP If someone of you have any information on remaining temples in HP or Garhwal of MATANGI, BHUVANESWARI, KAMLA, & BHAIRAVI, the remaining 10 mahavidyas, please let me know love Aum

Plz let me know as what made you conclude that tara temple near jwalaji is the tara mahavidya and shodshi is brijeshwari of kangra? As you said all the mahavidyas are in himalayan region only and i think more than one temple can be linked with the mahavidyas. There is a very famous(among locals) temple of maa baglamukhi near pandoh dam on chd manali road which is famous for attaining sidhhis, finding lost material or solving the years old judicial cases etc.similarly tripurasundari temple which is very ancient and pagoda style is situated at " naggar " in kullu (kulantpeeth). these are temples which are by the names of mahavidyas but there are temples which are popularly known by local names but having mahavidya in them for example tarna mandir in mandi district of h.p. is actually kali temple. There must be temples of all mahavidyas but these are known by some other names as you related shodshi with kangra temple.plz let me know and understand on what clues/ground we can corelate the possibility of a shakti temple with mahavidya' so that i can do something in this regard. with regards so hum... In fact I remembered you a lot during my recent visit to masroor, jwalaji etc where i visited last week. In fact the programme was made during the nite and morning at 4 we started. Thank you very much for telling me about more temples in Kullu region.. it has given me another excuse to visit them soon.. LOL I have been visiting jwalaji and chintapurni since 1977 but as u know I knew nothing of sadhna or 10 mahavidyas then. It was after my return from UK in 2002 that i became fan of Mahavidyas... thanks to my interaction with some great souls and an aghori baba, who gave me insight into Mahavidyas and their locations in Himachal. I was told that there are hundreds of Mahavidya temples around the world...some known some broken some forgotton or changed. Then I read about Nagarjuna, the great Tantrik and from whom tantrik branch of buddhism emanated. Nagarjuna, whose disciple Matsyendra Nath, whose disciple was guru Gorakh Nath, did his main rituals of tantra in Jwalamukhi temple. We still have the temple locally knowns as Arjun Naga temple, where he did his sadhna. This brought a new interest in me to explore mahavidyas in this region. Nagarjuna had identified all 10 mahavidyas in the region around jwalamukhi, after establishing the energies of mahavidayas there. So on my next visit to jwalamukhi I was ready to explore. In jwalamukhi I saw the photos and mantras of all 10 mahavidyas in the hall where Shaiyya (bed) of mataji was done in the nite. I enquired from local pundits but no one knew about mahavidyas. All said the same thing that Sati's tongue fell here. After reading all the mantras of mahavidayas, when i came out, the young panda was bringing an oldie to help me. That panditji who was head of priests of Jwalamukhi temple, told me that it was actually place of Mother Dhumavati. This information gave me shock waves....as I had fallen in love with Mother Dhumavati for long...but could not find any temple of her. (The old building having all 10 mahavidya fotos has since been demolished and a new marble hall sprang up recently....and the old fotos of 10 mahavidyas are lying in the store room of jwalamukhi temple.)...Alas !! If you are not bored till now...then let me continue.. from there i visited Chintapurni.... where it is openly declared that this temple belongs to Mother Chhinnmastaka..giving her foto and story.... so there was no doubt. Mother Tara's temple near jwalamukhi was earlier not in good shape, and very few people visited there....but now they have built a beautiful temple of Mother Tara there. I am also told that any mahavidya's temple with her real name automatically gets the energy of the mahavidya. So those temples which are directly in her name like Kali, Tara, baglamukhi etc are having same energies everywhere... but somewhere these mahavidyas have been given local names. So there was no need to research about chamunda, Tara and Baglamukhi. Now since the aghori baba told me all 10 temples must be around jwalamukhi... i lost my search. Meanwhile i visited Chandrabadni Temple in Garhwal....this temple has very great spiritual energies.. and on my 3 visit there the head priest told me this temple beloged to Mother Bhuvaneswari.!!!! The latest episode is just a week old. We had already visited all temples around Jwalaji... and decided to visit Kangra devi after about 12 years. It was very hot and humid and we were tired from our visit to Chamunda and Mcloadgunj. When we reached the temple, there was a long que and when i put my feet on white hot marble...i felt my feet will start smoking. Since I was weak due to operation...i decided not to stand in que and I and my other friends, paid pranam to mata from main gate and we returned.... with a promise to come back next time. But the mother was smiling. Just near the gate my friend Laxman met one of his clients, who purchased furniture from him, and on knowing that we are returning without darshan... he, being a resourceful man...took us to the office and LO... the head priest came there and took us to the temple from VIP gate. We were so delighted to have darshans...and thanked mother for her kindness.. and when we came out, I asked the head priest about Mahavidyas.....and he told This temple belongs to Mother Shodashi or Tripurasundari...then abt jwalaji etc. I was really shocked to find how Mother forced us to have her darshan and know about the next Mahavidyas. Now there must be some more temples around...in the jungle around Kangra fort..may be destroyed by now. The Real Kali (1st Mahavidya) temple is in Calcutta Dakshineswar...and real Baglamukhi is in MP...but Nagarjuna with his tantrik powers created these energy spots in HP... rest in next Aum
