by many rishis and compiled by lord vedvyasji.

 

but all puran r supposed to be written lord

vedyasji only.

Vyas is a title. Not a name. All those literary greats of yore were called by

this title. Krishna Dvaipayana Vyasa wrote the Mahabharata and edited the

Puranas.

 

The Veda Vyasa may be a different Rishi. There are 28 Rishis who have been

called as Vyas.
