Guest guest
Namaste all. Mother Earth is a Goddess to Hindus. She is One of the Wives of Maha Vishnu, One of the trinity of Hinduism. Hindu devotees ask Her pardon in this prayer before setting their feet on Her ground paying their respects:- samudra vasane devI parvata sthana manDale viSNu patnI namasthubhyaM pAda sparzaM KSamasva me Salutations to the Divine consort of the Lord, Who is clothed by the vast deep blue oceans, and Whose raised bosom is the majestic mountain range. Forgive me Mother, for setting my foot on You. In Padma Purana, Srimati Radharani is glorified through these prayers- tulasI puNya rupa ca gaGgA bhuvana pAvanI brahma loke ca sAvitrI kalayA tvaM vasundharA goloke rAdhikA tvaM ca sarva gopAlakezvarI You are Radhika, the eternal Mistress of all Gopis in Goloka. You are also identified as the origin of Prakriti, and as Savitri in Lord Brahma's abode. You are worshipped as the sacred plant Tulasi and as ever purifying River of the three worlds, Ganga, and in part as Mother Earth. ------------------- Also enjoy this video at: http://www.connectingamillionhearts.com/ Jaya Sri Radhe! > For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. > > For beautiful eyes, seek out the good in other people. > > To lose weight, let go of stress and the need to control others. > > To improve your ears, listen to the word of God. > > For poise, walk with knowledge and self-esteem. > > To strengthen your arms, hug at least three people > > a day. > > To strengthen your heart, forgive yourself and others. > > Touch someone with your love. > > Rather than focus upon the thorns of life, smell the roses and count your blessings. > > Don't worry and hurry so much... > > Rather walk this earth lightly and yet leave your mark!
