Guest guest
Dear fellow members. In the past we've gone through a series of questions posed by Saadhaks. Each Saadhak would ask a question and other would chime in with perspectives/answers/more questions. So let me ask you all a question. As a Saadhak, what is the most important question to each of you? For instance, what is it that you think you need to do more/less? Let me go first. TO me the most important question is discipline. 3-4 months back someone said they wanted to wake up at 4:00 AM. I have slowly managed to bring my wake up to 5:30 (from 8:00). However I still have the 'rubber band' effect. I'll suddenly sleep over to 8:00 and delay my morning prayers . Also mental discipline. My current goal is to meditate (Saying the Gayathri) for 1 hour - without my mind wandering. My worst enemy is conversation - I keep having imaginary conversations while praying . When My mind is steady for a few minutes, I become self- aware and the steadyness breaks. I will then start the process again. Please do share your thoughts, questions, perspectives.
