Guest guest
Pranams I am presently reading the Gita commentary by Osho. It was a speech (in Hindi), now in book form called 'Gita Dharshan' in eighteen volumes. True to his reputation, Mahatma Osho reaches the core of every sloka and captures something very unique in Srimad Bhagavad Gita. In the second chapter, while explaining slokas 2/22,23,24, says this " as Krishna says that the Atman is all pervading (sarva gata:), stationary (sthaanu:),immobile (achala:), the notion that It enters the womb during birth or leaves the body during death is wrong. " " the real truth about this is , that a person has three bodies. The first is his stoola (physical) one; the second is the sookshma(subtle) one; the third is the karana)causal one. The physical one is given by your biological parents. It has a definite life and disintegrates after death. It is the subtle (sookshma) body that carries the Karma and is moving from body to body. The transformation is by a natural law of cause and effect. So a subtle body with an accumulated karma finds its suitable womb almost immediately after death. Only the most sinned and the most benevolent will find it hard to get a body since such births are not so common " I welcome your comments especially on the highlighted text, which I find unique. Guest guest
1. Osho is wonderful gift to human kind yet misunderstood. 2. The sthula, sukshma and karana are nothing but other names of koshas of the jiva, i.e. annamaya kosha, pranmaya kosha, vidnyanamaya kosh, anandmaya kosha and the last one beyond kosha. 3. I firmly believe and convinced that the more intense (either evil or either pious) the personality, the more time is taken to find the right perents. 4.The reverse journey of manifestation is the only way to get back beyond koshas, I believe.
