Guest guest
Can the Government take such Steps??? (In order to demoralize Youths joining Terrorist factions) Last few days we all have been witnessing unprecedented events shocking the whole country. Upon a closer look we would observe that, at the ground level, such activities are given form only with help of the youth force. Without them it will not be possible to materialize an activity as severe as this. Why are they fighting? What are they fighting for? Sure, we understand that the Jihadi mindset molds their psychology to a level, where death does not matter any more. But something might matter. Aren’t they fighting for “their people” (they think so)? Who are they? It starts from their own family to a wider circle as presumed by them. Also, aren’t the financer’s of terrorism promising a “trouble free” future for the families of those who would die for the, so called, cause? Sure they get promises and assurances for well-being of those whom they leave to survive after them. Can the Government Issue directives, at least in India, of depriving the surviving families of all identified terrorists, caught alive or dead, of any legal possession or allowance for any financial venture or any such activity promising prosperity……OR even criminal sentencing. In another word it would mean undeclared, moderated, long-term imprisonment within the country. In my personal opinion it sounds a bit…..illogical, irrational, inhuman, ill-treatment………..but how do we combat them, who are - the illogical, the irrational, the inhuman, the ill-treating? Of course, with a force that is similar and opposing. Call it Newton’s Third Law OR Chanakya Niti. What else would demoralize the misguided Jihadi youth? What is their soft/emotional region, if not this? Comments are welcome…….. (PS - Today I met a Swamiji. Swamiji, after completing his doctorate in chemistry in the year of 1986 was inspired towards renunciation. Now he spends half of his time in some unknown place in the Himalayas doing Sadhanas and rest of his time traveling & halting at tirthasthals like, Puri, Banaras, Kamakhya, etc. Our discussion started with topics of mutual interest as Mantra, Yantra and eventually leading to the most current issue of the latest terrorist attacks. Swamiji is more of a secularist and prefers to visit Templesas well as Mosques with equal enthusiasm. These are His ideas that He asked me to convey in whichever way I can. Thus, this small right-up emerges to instigate a Thought that can be analyzed, discussed, evaluated and maybe promoted for serious consideration.)
