Prayers v/s Karma !!

Can prayers defeat Karma ?

two examples around me are worth mentioning. Subject A was a woman

of 40 having 2 little children. she was diagnosed with cancer and

doctors gave her just a month of life. All around her prayed and

requested god to give her some time so that she could see her

children growing....nothing happened and after 28 days she died a

miserable and painful death !

subject B a male of 60, diagnosed with cancer .. doctors opined he

would survive for a month. All around him prayed...he also prayed

that he wish to see his grandson and requested god to grant him some

life. He surivived for another eight months saw his grandson and is

still playing with him.

Now... have Prayers worked in second case, defeating the Karma ?

and prayers failed in first case and Karma won ?

If Karmas are supreme and will have their toll, why pray ?

I invite all sadhakas to give their valueable opinion to further

discuss this important issue

Love always

Prayers never work. We mistake prayers to be working but infact our

karmas are working.

I have never seen somebody's death being postponed due to prayers. I

also wonder why do we pray god for wordly things ? which he does not

care to listen

This is a huge statement. I think in the past 4000 years or so of

human civilization, our ancestors would have established some cause-

effect relationship between prayers and efficacy. They wouldnt have

passed on the legacy of prayers etc. if it was utter rubbish.

Mistaking karma-effects for prayer after-effects, it is possible, but

notprobable, for the reason that karma theory is also not our

invention/discovery and the same has been received by us in virasat

from the same ancestors.

We can be sure about this only if we are certain about the timing of a

person's death. Do we have even approximation of the time of a

person's death?

I also wonder why do we pray god for wordly things ? which he does

not care to listen

If not to God, then whom else should we pray to? Just as the adamant

child continues to cry, even when it is fairly certain not to get its

favourite toy now itself. But its pranks and tantrums have sown the

seeds of future course to its parents and the next time the parents

decide to deny or favour the child, the previous tantrum will play a

role in their mind.

Aumji , Jayaji and all other co sadhaks --  Pranams .

The word cancer is not a synonym of death. Cancer of skin, muscle, bone, brain

behave differently Head to foot cancer can affect any part. Each part has more

than two types of cancer  named differently. Carcinoma of stomach causes slow

death and Sarcoma of stomach causes quick death.. Cancer survivors are living to

a ripe old age of 80 and more..

And Jayaji , we can not pray for worldly gains. We can not pray for divine gifts

either . Why and what for should we pray. Prayer does miracles.Pray and see.

Ha ha ha  Kaliyug ji , God incrnates like Kaliyugvishnus enrich sadhak`s

thoughts with " PURE "   rationalism. and of couse totally free comedy .

Mahatma Gandhi said " prayer has saved my life; without it I would have become a

lunatic long ago " .

Prayer saves all from lunacy  not death.

if prayer would save anyone from death, no one would have died and

the world would be in chaos
