Guest guest
Namaste Priya Sadhaks, Usually i experience swaying to and fro in prayer, japa , bhajans, or even when I sit for study of Gita. When I become conscious of this, I try to sit erect and try not to sway. But that phenomenon returns as I get engrossed into Saadhnaa again. This stop- resume goes on. One thing I notice is that there is no great loss of concentration. Sometimes, I felt it made me good, though generally it is incident free and became so regular that it is left unnoticed. I got this question after I saw an article in the founder's website of Saadhnaa on pointers about progress in one's saadhna. This phenomenon is not mentioned there. Is this progress? Some Yogis say you should force the body not to move by sitting in Asans, but I think you shouldnt force the body in any way, & let it move as it pleases. The swaying happens as the Pran moves in the body, & meets blockages, which it tries to clear. This can also lead to tremors, shaking etc. love Shantnu
