Dear spbyoga9,

since when the LPG expiry date becomes a subject of Sadhna. One

member blasted me on Delhi Blasts, where is she now ?

Can you tell what/who determines the expiry date of human

beings ? Is it really our health, food etc which determines how long

we will live ?

Dear vishnuji,

This is a very good question and i hope our wise sadhaka will

contribute their views on this.

I feel that well before we are born, our life span is fixed

depending upon our karma (and karma of our parents, siblings etc).

There is nothing called a " Sudden Death " , and environments affect

our life span, due to our past karma.

We should not blame anyone for the death as we are ourselves

responsible for whatever is happening to us. There is a beautiful

story in Mahabharata. There was a widow Brahmin lady named Goutami,

who lived with her only son. She was very religious and a higher

soul. Her son was her only living relative and she was planning to

get him married soon.

One day a snake bite her son and he died. Goutami was furious as he

was the only one she had. She used her yogic powers and summoned the

snake and asked him why he killed her son. The snake said, " Mother

do not be angry with me. I have no personal enemity with your son.

It was Kaala (God of time) who asked me to kill this boy as his time

on earth finished " .

Goutami summoned Kaala and demanded as to why he asked snake to

kill. The Kaala said, " Mother pls forgive me. I have no will of my

own. My hands are tied by Vidhata(Godess of fate). She asked me to

kill the boy as this was his destiny " . Vidhata was called and she

said, " Mother forgive me! I do not make fate by my fantasies…but I

design the destiny on the basis of one's past karma. Your son had

done so many bad karma in past life that he was to die now and u did

some bad karma in yr past life so u were to face this grief " .

Goutami forgave the snake, kaala and fate for the plight of her

son….as then she knew it was her son himself responsible for his

death and nobody else.

with love always

Hari Om!

I have a doubt.

Your post seems to suggest that physical dealth is the result of past sin. On

the other hand, my understanding is that one's life on earth is an opportunity

for working out one's karma. Your life's happenings are indeed pre-determined by

your karma and you work it out during your life-time here. If you die, perhaps

you had worked out your karma fully or as per the quota assigned to you in this

birth. Kanch seer told a foreigner who wanted proof for the theory of karma- 'Go

to a maternity hospital. So many children are born to parents of varying social

and material circumstances. Some children are born to poor parents and live to

lead a miserable life; some more are born to wealthy parents yet with certain

defects; still some die within days after being born. What does the premature

death of an infant baby signify? It is born only to work out its destiny? It has

to undergo the trauma of being confined in the womb of the mother and being born

and living

for a brief period, so as to wipe out its carried forward karma.

Hence, I feel that death is not the result of sin, as the Christian theology

would like us to believe. We consider death as another stage in the long journey

of the soul to reveal itself unto itself.

Dear apunathan ji,

The sotry in my post meant that sudden/tragic death may be due to

some sins. But living a life full of events and learnings is

certainly a boon. I agree with you that this life is given to us to

work out some karma and when that portion of karma is finished, we

leave the body.

My main point is that our life span is decided on our karma of

past lives, and the physical factors work according to that karma

only.

With love

Dear Vishnuji,

Namaste!

Tell me did you start the effervescent and caustic topic on

Delhi blast? NO! it was started by Jeetubhai and you reacted

to it. Sameway Anupamji asked a query about LPG expiry, though

it has nothing to do about sadhana and since i had access to the

information i supplied and Anupamji is relieved (that matters more

to me, afterall no matter how strong you are mentally but in a

healthy state sadhana can be performed better than being maimed by

LPG blast in your own house) so you cannot ask me as to why i raised

this topic unless ofcourse if i had started the topic, which i didn't.

Mine was just an answer to the query thats all - surely you are not

going to crib to me that i should not entertain such questions?

As regards the lady who blasted you, the query is wrongly directed

to me. Why don't you ask her yourself, as to where is she now?

It has absolutely nothing to do with me.

Personally i feel that you are smarting under the pain and trying

to do WITCH HUNTING which is not needed here at all? Got it?

Further somebody asked a query on Surya Namaskar and i alone

answered it but the person who asked it didn't even thank me

or atleast acknowledged it, but it didn't ruffle my feathers?

Because i believe in, NEKI KAR AUR DARYA MEIN DAL. i.e. Do a

good deed and move on.

A free advise to you. The hot headedness you are exhibiting

needs to be reigned in so learn to do GYAN MUDRA which will

go a long way in curbing the habit.

Regarding who determines expiry date i totally agree with all

that Aumji said. To add on to that, usually people take to good

diet and exercise and fasting etc., only if you are destined to

live a long life, others do not. Benjamin Franklin said,

TO LENGTHEN THY LIFE LESSEN THY FOOD. How many follow it, very

few, ofcourse exception to the rule is always there, one takes

upto healthy life style only if one is destined and not otherwise.

Hope this satisfies you, if you still have any lingering

doubts/questions feel free to ask and i will answer if i

know about it.

With warm wishes,

Sudhakar

Dear Vishnuji,

I don't need to practise the gyan mudra i am already doing it

but you certainly need to do it. In one sweep you have tried

to avoid all the points i raised in lieu of your accusation

towards me. Please read the posting again and answer me, such

as what harm is there if i answer a question raised by Anupamji,

next why you should question me about the lady who blasted you, when

i have nothing to do with it.

I am awaiting your reply because you questioned me and i answered

it and you have nothing to say further?
