Guest guest
Namaste All, I was always humbled by the sheer genius of our ancestors when it came to fine arts. Our thousands of years of tradition is expressed through art only. One such is the South Indian Carnatic music. I was aving some doubts about its survival in this adharmic society bent upon relishing noisy and soulless music. But some recent happenings made me change my opinion. This is my new blog A Tradition Alive and Kicking ! http://sanatanavenkat.blogspot.com/2008/09/tradition-alive-and-kicking.html J Venkatasubramanian Did you know? Guest guest
Venkat, I am not an exponent of music. But, I have an ear for it and I love a good music instinctively. It is my regret that I was not born in a tradition which trains the children in music. Regrettably, even my children whom I sought to introduce the learning of music, have spurned it. It is my prayer that if I were to be born again, I should grow up in music and become a connoisseur of music and sing the praise of God always. Our tradition shall never die, as long as people with the passion of yours persist with it and propagate it. It is my fervent belief that if we need to survive the onslaught of the anti-God tradition, we must be steadfast in our practice of our faith, whatever be the odds against it. ulaganathan p Venkat <apexpreci2000
