Krishna was going to Mathura to meet kansa (his maternal

uncle) who had earlier tried to Kill Krishna on many

occasions but failed.

When people of Mathura came to know about the arrival of shri

krishna, they gathered on the roads to have a glimpse of their

loving Bal gopal. When Krishna was passing from the streets of

Mathura, people were spellbound to see his loving face.

There were hundreds of young women who had come all prepared, laden

with ornaments and wearing their best dresses. They were

whishpering ..oh! May Krishna see us and fall in love with us.

Krishna was watching them lovingly and his eyes when met with their

eyes, gave them trembles of ecstasy. In the crowd also stood one

woman who was hunchback with no beauty on the face. She wore simple

clothes as she was quite poor. She had also heard of Krishna coming

to Mathura and had come prepared to show her love to Krishna by

applying sandal-wood paste on his body.

Seeing so many beautiful and well decorated noble girls, her heart

sank. She was standing hopelessly behind the crowd crying over her

bad luck and thinking, " Oh why Krishna will love a woman

like me? I am not beautiful I even have a hunch....

amongst all those beauties of Mathura, i am nothing but a

piece of shame....Oh my krishna at least see towards me

once. "

Suddenly she saw Krishna standing before her and asking

lovingly " Beloved will you not apply sandalwood paste on

my body " She was shocked with surprise and with

trembling hands applied fragrant paste on Krishna's

forehead and arms. Her eyes were shedding tears... her

voice was choked...she could not believe what brought

Krishna to a useless woman like her. Krishna smiled and

said, " Now I will kiss you as a price for your service "

and he held her by face, but due to hunch she could

not stand erect. Krishna put his feet over her feet

and gave her body a jerk and her hunch vanished. She

could not even thank Krishna for his love, and he had

gone ....and our heroine stood shocked dumb and crying

in SPIRITUAL ECSTASY.

==========================================================

What was it that brought Krishna to the hunchback?

Let us not worry about our bad karma, nor for the present faults nor

for the luck or gods or anything.....let pure and pious

love for HIM awaken in our heart...let us cry for

HIM.....let us make him the sole purpose of our life and HE

will be there !! He will not care for our knowledge of

books, nor for the ornaments of our degrees of knowledge

nor will he be impressed with the numbers of books we

read. He will measure the love and piousness in us and

respond.

Dears Aumji, Ulaganathan and Shantnu.

Lord Krishna and hunchback woman incidence is just wonderful Aumji,

and with telling narrations of Ulaganathanji and Shantnuji it sums up

the glory of love, surrender, devotion - Bhakti! All sadhanas -

jnanayoga, karmayoga, rajayoga, tantra and so on - must culminate in

love for Him, that is the true wisdom, the Reality. True

knowledge(jnana) makes us marvel at the creation and we are

wonderstruck, a sign of Bhakti.Total devotion to work(karma) for the

excellence in work itself cleans body-mind-intellect complex and the

resultant purity takes us to an exalted feeling of joy, again a sign

of Bhakti. Deep breathing exercises, body postural adjustments, mental

training of focusing and meditation(rajayoga) while opening up the

reservoirs of internal treasure ushers in inexplicable peace and

tranquility, yet another sign of Bhakti and so on. Our

body-mind-intellect created identity of ourselves looks trifle in

front of the identity revealed by divine power invoked in us by the

sadhanas and willingly that 'lower' self created by

body/mind/intellect surrender to the awesome higher self sprung in

us. The sweetest rasa/nectar of life is in Bhakti. We are not complete

without it!

Thanks to you all,

With Love,

wonderful quotation Thimappaji... all the paths finally reach the

divine love.

without divine love, Gyan remains a dry intellectual wrestiling,

bhakti remains a fanatic act and tantra remains a lower siddhis sadhna.

Let us all tread towards the path of divine love... the love of Gopis

from whereever we are

This was a very heart touching post Aumji.

So what is it that brings Krishna to Kubja ? was it her past

Karma/sadhna or was it her being an innocent and worst woman ?

What can bring krishna to us ?

Thanks Jayaji, Krishna's love is very unique... a little cruel to

mind and body and enlightening for the soul.

Krishna does not care for the karmas and sadhna... he is moved by

depth of our cry for him.

Still there is no guarantee that he would remain with us for

ever... like gopis he can leave us in between and vanish again...

One has to be ready for every thing and anything to get Krishna's

love.

Krishna snatches all wealth, friends, relatives and lovers of

his true bhaktas...as he is not ready to share his love with others

HARE KRISHAN ,HARE RAM

Lord Sri Krishan is everything whatever we can think . If you treat

Him like your enemy He would behave with you like an enemy . iF You

treat Him like a husband He would treat you as a wife . if you treat

Him like a friend He would be with you like a friend .

what the AUM Sir has explained beautifully that Lord Sri Krishan

keeps us away from relatives,............... because in that case He

acts like a father , same as you care for your child. you shout your

child, you beat your child , sometimes you keep your child away from

yourself , away from TV ,.............. why because of the better

future of child . IN THE same way Lord Sri Krishan does with His

child too because of our goodness only , because He knows what is

the truth and how we would get .......................

HARE KRISHAN ,HARE KRISHAN ,KRISHAN KRISHAN ,HARE AHRE,HARE

RAM ,HARE RAM ,RAM RAM,HARE HARE
