Guest guest
Namaste! It is said that the Pure Spirit is like an ocean, on which arise many individual waves. Each of these waves is unique, as it an individual expression of the Infinite ocean. But then for some reason, these waves forget the ocean, & tighten their energy to become separate from the ocean. Not only that, they start fearing the other waves, & try to find ways to triumph over them. This leads to all sorts of clashes, pain, misery, accusations of evil, sin, there being no God etc. The solution is not to do a psycho-analysis of the waves mental problems(as scientists try to do), or try to help the waves materially(which is what moralists & social workers try to do), or run to some astrologer to do Shani Puja or Katha(which is what most Indians do), or blame some mythical Satan(which is what most religons do). The solution is for the wave to remove its blocks, which stop it becoming one with the ocean. The seed of pain exists in the wave because it has disconnected from its source. The wave becomes complete when it breaks all its boundaries with the ocean. No longer is it worried about its petty problems, no longer it blames some Satan or Karma. The wave realises its problems were because it had broken away from its source. It now realises its oneness with the ocean & all waves. What happens after this maybe a surprise- the wave doesnt vanish into the ocean, as it is still a unique impression of it. It doesnt vanish into some void or neutral God/spirit. Rather, it realises the source of its power, knowledge & joy, & now it works with this knowledge. It is now more qualified to work in the world, heal pain & misery, bring love, as it is connected to the source of Love & healing. Not only that, it is connected to all other waves that have merged with the ocean. A wave in India will behave exactly as a wave in America, & as they both, in their heart are the same. Realising the Ocean that exists in our heart, & recognising it in others hearts too, is the only way to help people. All other methods are shallow & dont go beyond the mind. There is a small story: The Pandavs once heard of a great demon harassing the forests. It was too powerful to be defeated. Being noble Kshatriyas, they decided to tackle him. They all went to the jungle, & heard the rumbling & thundering noise of the demon. One by one they went to challenge the demon, & one by one they were all defeated. They were all lying in pain, when Krishna came in. He too heard the rumbling of the demon, but he just stood there. When the demon came, Krishna just smiled, & the demon vanished. There is a great hidden truth in this story. The Pandavs were trying to fight the external form of the demon, who was much stronger than them. Krishna smiled at the God who lived even in the heart of the demon. Krishnas Love & power gave permission to the demons inner God to come forward, & which meant the demon had to vanish. He was replaced by a Brahmin, who had been cursed to become a demon. Of course, there is a time to fight, & a time to show love- as later on Krishna urged Arjun to war. But this decision must be taken by our inner God, the vast Ocean, & not by our petty ego, mental ideas, or our interpretation of the Shastras. I mean, can we get instant enlightenment of our true nature, or does the process always take time? with love Radha

Radhaji, the merging happens in no time: but it takes time to break all the ego knots, attractions, repulsions the individual has created for his current body. with love Shantnu
