My dear spiritual brother.. this is a very important question. All

temples have a vortex of high positive energies. Normal temples get

this vortex due to continuous meditation and worships. Siddha

peetha or those temples where god in any form personally visited

(even long ago), have these subtle strong positive

energies...permanently staying in the temple.

Siddha shakti peetha have very strong vortex due to Shakti's

continuous presence there. For example in Jwalaji temple, Guru

Gorakhnathji requested Jawala Devi to be there till he returned

(which he intentionally never did).

These energies are felt by all but differently. Some people may

feel happiness there, some like to go there as the temple fulfilled

their wishes, others feel energised by visiting those temples.

Everyone is affected by these energies and they carry home some

energies which they may use for any purpose for business, for

material gains or for spiritual progress.

Those who are a little advanced in sadhna may feel these high

energy vortex as a feeling of weeping or tingling in spine, or

raising of arm hairs etc, or as some strange feeling of love for the

god.

More advanced sadhakas can see those energies and can determine

the color and strength of those energies.

Like once i took one of my friends to jwalaji... when he was not

a sadhaka. He told me he felt like crying and his throat choked

with emotions on seeing the flames.

A very common man may not feel any energies there... even then

his subtle body is affected by these energies.

I saw those energies working .. when i visited Jageshwar Temple near

almora and Patal Bhuvaneshar (near Tibet border).... while Jwalaji

and chamunda temple in HP always affects my sadhna positively

whenever i visit there.

Vaishno Devi has lot of high energies and many people used those

energies for material benefits and became millionaires ( gulshan

kumar narender chanchal and 1000s others)....

Shakti does not mind using those energies for material benefits...

but still waits like an eager mother to come back to her lap.

Love

Such a nice information about a common practice by common people yet explorable

by uncommon ones...........

i think even common people have shudhha bhava they can experience such energies

in temples.

last year, while a discussion on tantra in this group, shantnu ji had put a

information that all the rituals we usually perform in a temple like offering

flowers, dhoop, tilak etc is actually a part of tantra only. In the same context

i would like to request you to kindly elaborate as what should be the more

appropriate way of performing pooja etc in a temple & nbsp;physically as well as

spiritually.

thanks Sohum, shanracer would be able to recall and re-write about

those rituals.

I am of the view that if we worship the goddess as loving mother

with a heart pure as a child... no ritual is necessary.

Mother Loves.. there is no doubt about it

Sohumji, I dont know much about rituals. All the rituals have inner

counterparts.

Like the fire sacrifice- Yagya. Our Conciousness is like a flame. We

offer our speech(as mantra), pran(as pranayam) & mind(as

concentration) as offerings into the sacred flame. The sacred fire

accepts our sacrifice, & returns our offerings increased many times &

purified.

All life is a ritual- the results of everything that we offer to life

are pre-destined. If we offer sweet stuff, we will get sweet stuff

back, if we offer pain, we will get pain. We have to live our life as

a Yagya- do everything carefully, with awareness, & offer only those

things to God that we want purified & returned. In a Yagya, you

wouldnt doze off or start wandering here & there. But in the Yagya of

life people lose their awareness & their goal in life. Life must be

lived like a Yagya, as it is a sacrifice.

As Krishna says " Offer all your actions upto me " . This is the real

Yagya of life, in which we offer all our actions to God or the Sacred

flame in our heart.

Outer rituals are just a lower version of this inner ritual. Im not

saying outer rituals are useless- if you know their esoteric meaning,

which most people dont. They are used to control astral forces to get

certain results. But most people dont know much about astral forces,

nor do they know inner meaning of these rituals, what they do is

empty candle shaking.

with love

Shantnu

" God or Guru is like a mirror, being in front of them is to get a

better reflection of our Ownself. To see in a mirror thats well

polished gives a better reflection. In the same way a Jyotirlinga or

a Shaktipeeth or the abode of a SADGURU or similar energized places

gives a better reflection/reciprocation of our OWNSELF (Physical,

Emotional, Psychological or Spiritual) " .

Thats the little difference in terms of what be usually call the

Sacred or the other.

Anupam

Dear Anupamji,

What an exposition on temple energies, extremely illuminating, true

and great. Congratulations for being an embodiment of such wonderful

insights. Thanks a lot.
