In last few years the population of earth has exploded. From few

hundred millions people 100s of years ago, it is now more than 6 billion.

So where did all the extra souls come from to take birth? And why is

there such an explosion in number of births in last 100-200 years?

Where are the other species/animals, we have killed most of them or they

have become extinct and all those souls have born as human beings!

Hence, overall the number is same, animals or humans.

Dear S kumar ji,

Namaste!

I hope you know before we got human birth we have travelled through

84 lakhs yonis. From amoeba to whale in water and from ant to

elephant on land. The population explosion you see is not new souls

but all these creatures have evolved to reach in Kali Yuga for

human birth. It is not something new or extra ordinary. Do you know

how many mosquitoes are there and there life span is small. They

evolve and in the turn of the cycle many have graduated to human

level. Hope this clarifies your doubt. Ofcourse i have not taken

minerals and trees who are also evolving.

With warm wishes,

Kumarji and other Saadhaks , During the last 100 years ,many

bacteria, parasites, marine microbes became extinct. They supplied souls which got

promoted as humans.Discovery of antibiotics and pesticides is the cause.

Just my thought.Babaji and Shantnu will give a better reply.

Blessed Selves!

Since man in Kali Yuga nurtures a multitude of desires and beset with longings

for fulfillment of these desires, could it be possible, in order that he works

out these desires, in the shortest possible time through the splitting of his

consciousness in different lives simultaneously, which otherwise might drag him

on for as many births as the number of desires will take for him individually? I

draw inference for this possibility from the fact that even Lord Vishnu's

avatars like Sri Ramachandra Murthy and Parasuram were contemporaries and it is

said that Lakshmana also had the characteristics of Lord Vishnu. Similarly Lord

Krishna and Balarama, the great yadava princes are said to be the avatars of

Lord Vishnu. If so, is it not possible for the human soul, to take more than one

lives simultanously, to wipe out their karma?

ulaganathanji has got I think the closest answer.

Our physical body & astral body are destroyed with death- only the

Causal body remains. There is no rule that the causal body only has to

create one astral/physical body. Since the causal body is made of

conciousness(Chit) and bliss(anand), & is purely Sattvic, it has lot

of freedom & power-almost as powerful as God(there are subtle

differences, but from our point of view those differences are negligible).

The causal body just selects a host of Karma to create a body, & just

visualises their completion. It doesnt plan that it will create a body

that will be born in India & will marry such & such person, get this

job etc. This is what many people think happens, but all this planning

etc is of the mind, & the causal body is far behind the mind.

Instead, the causal body just releases a bunch of karma, & it is

Prakriti(Mother Nature) that decides how best to work out that Karma.

In Kaliyug, since people have infinite desires, the causal body may

create more than 1 body to work out its karma. It may even create 1

human & 1 animal body to work out its lower karma.

Another reason maybe- all the souls of last Kaliyug that couldnt get

moksha, are being born now to fulfil their Karma. These are miserable

souls with very violent natures, which is why there is so much misery

in the world. Such souls arent allowed to be born in other ages, so

they all come in Kaliyug.

Another reason maybe that as people of Kaliyug are very materialistic,

they immediately take birth, & spend no time in the astral worlds.

Their earthly desires are so strong that they can never leave Earths

orbit to enter the astral heavens- they keep being reborn again &

again on physical earth. It might take them thousands of years to

realise there is no happiness, by which time Kaliyug will be over &

they will have to wait for next Kaliyug.

Finally, there is no rule that only souls of our Earth can be born

here- acc. to Hinduism there are millions of universes/planets, & any

soul can be born anywhere. So if we have Kaliyug here, another planet

may have Satyug, & good souls of our Earth may choose to be born

there. Similarly, their evil souls may have to take birth here.

Its very complicated, as we can see, & there is no one final factor

that can decide everything.

Swamiji & Sudhakarki, your point regards all the animals/creatures

being killed by humans taking human birth is good.

So then do all creatures killed by man get a chance to become human,

or only those closest us, ie mammals like monkeys, cows dogs etc?

So Marcusji, who decides how many " reflections " of the one true self

there will be at any one time in the manifest world?

Only mamals get a chance of human birth. If i kill a mosquito or ant

it will not become a human but evolve to its next line in rebirth.

I am sure you must have read or heard a story about Lord Vishnu

telling Narada to visit a place where by seeing him the parrot dies.

He is then directed to another place where the calf of the cow dies

on seeing him. Lastly he is directed to another place where a woman

gives birth to a boy and this child then explains how it from parrot

to calf to human being it evolved fast because of seeing Naradji or

rather the vibes of Naradji.

as i understand it the " being " who decides the quantum of indivdaul

refections isnt a being but the culmanation of individaul and full

planet karma a natral process,so its not a dicision, its an effect. now

the question i think to myself now is what is the original cause of

this snowballing effect, is it what universal existence is/does as a

manifest being the same way a fish's nature is to swim

So where do you think this chain of Karmic cause & effect starts?

Is it some original Being, a Pure Spirit? If so, what does he have to

gain by it?

Or is it an unexplainable Void? If so, where did the seeds of

manifestation come from in the Void? Does that mean there is something

behind the Void?

first there was om(Brahman) the vibration and in the end there is

om the vibration so the logical way for one to understand something

that is the start, the finish we must maintain that also the middle

must be om.understand that om is the self and exists in the three

periods start middle and end as a vibration unbroken that is eternal

the om being much like a screen in a cinema(Brahman/self) that is

untouched by the film(earthly life) that is projected upon it and

when the film is finished it remains untouched ,pure, but due to

defects within the mind(ignorance and wrong thinking)we can only

understand or comprehend a start, middle and end where as the reality

is an unbroken stream of oneness
