Ok dear jitinder before we go further please tell me which shloka of Gita tells that Krishna is saying that we are made of Buddhi, Ahenkar, jeevatama. After studying that shloka i can proceed further. Ego is a wrong word... actually English is a poor language spiritually... so we better use our own words. Earth water fire, air, ether, mind, spiritual intelligence and false ego; thus these are the eightfold divisions of my external energy. Shloka 5:- O mighty armed one, this external energy is inferior, but superior to this, you should know another, my marginal energy comprising the embodied souls of all living beings by which this material world is utilised. Jitinderji, shri krishna used here the word " False ego " which is not ahankar (or aham). if you remeber, some weeks before i wrote a post on " I " and " i " .. the false ego is the personality ego which our mind makes during our birth time, and this false ego is lost after death. The real Aham is a spark of the divine encirced by Ahankar made of Tamo guna. This ahankar alongwith Chitta is called the Antaratama or the individual soul and this individual soul remains intact births after births.. It is this individual soul that frees itself after Moksha, the tiny spark encircled by aham, is set free and merges into the divine light. It is like if you have a cup and you keep a card board piece over its mouth, the air inside the cup is cut from the external air, and takes shape of the cup...when we remove the cardboard the air becomes the part of the external air and no more thinks herself as shape of the cup. The air can be equated to the Soul... the cardboard Aham and the air inside the cup cut by cardboard and cup.. is Jivatama. AUM
