In last few posts a lot has been written about Karna. He has been

praised like anything.

 

In past I also had the same view that Karna was a great person but

after reading some material I was forced to change my view point. And

this change was not emotional but based on the facts of Mahabharat

some of which I give below:-

 

1. Karna was adamant to learn Dhanurvidya (art of archery) by

any means, right or wrong. Even he lied with his Guru (Parshuram).

2. Karna always supported the wrong deeds of Duryodhan from the

very beginning – Giving poison to Bheem, burning Pandvas with Kunti

alive in Lakshyagrah etc.

3. He was always defeated by Arjuna – in Draupdi swayamvar, in

Virat yudh and finally in Kuruskshetra.

4. He was a selfish person who always tried to achieve personal

goals and his friendship with Duryodhan was only because of this.

5. He hated Pandavas and fought with him through whole of his

life only because he could not see Arjuna a better dhanurdhari (bow

master) later.

6. He called Draupadi a Vaishya only because he could not marry

such a beautiful girl.

7. Last but not least – He gave away his Kundal and Kavach in

exchange of Indra Shakti and we give it a name of greatest donation?

 

Please excuse me if I hurt somebody's feelings. But can these facts

be ignored ?

Learning something is not bad , but since He had some bad karmas in

the last birth so he could not get the right to learn the

dhanurvidya . even today if someone is born as S.C Category does not

mean he can not become IAS officer , He can not read vedas .still

there are rules .why do you say today that animals should not be

secrificed when it was tradition in old age to secrifice animals in

yajna ,

Karna was following the dharma of a friend . i could not get any

friend in my life who can follow the dharma of a friend while i am

searching from my childhood .i am proud of Karna for his friendship

He was not defeated by Vidhya but by social conduct and we are also

defeated by social conduct . He was human and not the God.

there is no harm in that kind of selfish , we also want to achieve

the Kingdom of the God or want to get rid from the world of

pain ,hence you think that we all are selfish

how can you say He hated with Pandavas if so then why He said that i

will not kill anybody except Arjuna even He got so many chances in

the war to kill other pandavas , but He had not killed them

and after that he repented on that for the whole life , even He said

to the Lord Sri Krishna that i do not know how my tongue said like

that , i could not understnad why it happened . i had no feeling to

say like that

He had not asked for shakti , but said by His father Lord Sun in

dream and Lord Indra gave Him

BabaJi and PradeepJi, he didnot seek Symphathy anywhere, but was not

given enough chance to prove his nobleness.

But one thing Babaji and PradeepJi, it was becoz of the bad company he

had that failure, but also think about why was he deprived of many

things even before he became freind to Dhuryodhana. But bad company i

would say, even a dog shows its luv for the one who provides food and

how come he can go against dhuryodhna who stood by him. Right or wrong

he was a human and not a God and didnot have Krsna on his side unlike

Arjuna to make right decisions at right time. " Why didnot Krsna advise

Karna unlike he advised Draupadi to refuse Karna " ? Krsna knew the game

plan and knew only Karna can fight/win Arjuna, so he tricke Karna

several times to make him a weaker Human!!!

Karna was wronged by

1) his mother Kunti twice , once immdiately after birth and later by asking

him to spare the life of arjun

2)Arjun

3)Lord Krishna

4) Indra

5)Bhargava

6)Mother earth.

No Dharmic logic or Tarka can rationalise Karna`s birth and death.

here two episodes are quite different.

hence you want to say that Bhism Pitameh ko yudha main samil nahin

hona chahiye tha

 

what duryodhan was doing , was not his intellect but it was the

intellect of Sakuni. Sakuni planning could not be controlled by the

Lord hismself , just Lord asked five villages then how Karna could

have convinced duryodhana. what power Karna had to convince

Duryodhan .

 

Sakuni was the leader , he had the power to control everything in

duryodhan side because He was a great kutinitigya (negative

intelligence). all planning was done by the great kUTINITIGYA

Sakuni .

dronacharya .....could control sakuni . duryodhan was the instrument

only.

 

when Karna made friendship he was not knowing about the war and about

Duryodhan . when he made friendship then it became his dharma to

support him as everybody like Bhism Pitameh ,Guru

Dronacharya ,...............did . because He was indebted by the

Duryodhan . if He could not had fought in the war ,then faith of

friendship might be lost till now. though today no faith is left it

is different issue but still......

 

Karna was an intelligent person too , He was knowing what is right

and what is wrong to do for him.

 

overall He was the son of the Lord Sun and Maan kunti, a great

Kshatriya ,a great Dhanurdhar in spite of born as Sut putra in

society. but unfortunately(because of his previous karmas )he could

not get the oppartunities in his life as other Pandavas got .
