Guest guest
Namaste everyone! I have some questions, can someone pls answer them: 1. In the Keelak strotram(which has to be read before Saptashati) there is a line that says " Patni manoramam dehi " , or give me a good wife. Should women change this to Pati? 2. In 11th chapter, sholka 6, the Gods praise Durga as " All the women in the world are you in entirety " . Do they mean all the women of the world combined represent the Goddess, or that each individual woman represents the Goddess? 3. At end of same chapter, Durga promises she will be born as Devis like Raktadantika, Bhramari etc to destroy demons. Has she been born in these forms, or will that happen in future? Thanks! Here patni doesnt mean wife, but Shakti. Whether you are man or woman, it is the Purusha side that is praying for a good Shakti(or Self praying for Kundalni) who will help Him find moksha. This becomes clear in next line, which says " Kulotbavam " , which means born of good family, but it also means born of " Kula " or Kundalni Shakti. love Shantnu

Should women change this to Pati? yes woman can say Pati and married people can say shakti, as shantnu advised. > 2. Yes all the women are manifestation of shakti, due to the fact of 1/2 kalaa held by all women. Adi-shakti is the mother of all the universe and each woman is mother also....so women are doing ad- shakti's work on gross level..... remember paramhansa even worshipped a prostitute as mother Kali....perhaps he wished to stress the same view. > > 3. I think that time has already passed....durga saptshati is 100s of thousands years old. There is a Shakambhari temple in Saharanpur...which proves Shakambhari avtar has taken place...are so are the others. AUM
