Guest guest
Om Namah Shivya SwamiJi as far as i know, Thiruppavai was composed and sung by Saint Andal, in Tamil. ( Nachiar being her actual name ). She used to consider Vishnu as her husband and has sung this 30 stanza lyric. In her younger age she used to wear the garland which is supposed to be worn for Lord Vishnu in the temple where she servered. This songs are very familiar in Tamilnadu which is sung during the month of December/jan. I will try to get verses in English and post it here. Shivaya Namah Aum. Thiruchitrambalam. Senthil.
