Guest guest
" .... because of muslim invasion and atrocities people forgot me.I am situated under this tree in a pindi rupa/form.You are my dear devotee, stay here and worship and serve me.I am called Chchinmastika. Because I relieved you of your worries(chinta) now I will be known as Chintapurini. Maidas bowed his head and pleaded- " O mother of creation! o bhagvati! I am a less intelligent and incapable creature. How will I live alone admidst this fearful forest? there is neither food here, nor water and there is no place where I can live. This place is scary even during daylight, how will I live here during the night? Maata said- " I will make you fearless. " Thereafter she gave her mantras with which she said Maidas should worship her. Then she said- " When you go down and pull any big stone out , you will find water there. With that water you can worship me. I will dissipate the worries of my devotees and themselves they will help in construction of the temple.Whatever will be offerd here, will help you to fulfill your basic needs. Your descendants will have the right to worship me. " Then she transformed into the form of pindi Devotee Maidas was relieved of his worries.Happily he went down the cliff and removed a boulder. Water emerged. He was extremely happy. He built a hut and started living there. With the water he statred worshipping Maata in her pindi form. Now there is a pond there and numerous devotees visit for darshana. Bhakta Maidas ki Jai Jai Maata ki

It is a siddha Peetha and a must visit temple for all sadhaka. Aum
