suppose someone is 32 years old and unmarried. He does not want to

marry as per the state of His self. but He is not able to control

the sexual desire .what should He do then .what is your sensible

advice for him.

 

i said meditation , but it could not work for him because He could

not concentrate in meditation . He tried , but then He had a feeling

that this is not right for Him.

Dear Jitendra Kumar=ji,

I agree with Bala ji to get spiritually inclined wife but it is

very very difficult to get one and till you get what can be done.

As a yoga therapist i can tell you is that suppression leads to

psychological and neurological disorders. Then what is the

solution? SUBLIMATION of the sexual drive. How does one do it.

 

Get up early in the morning and take friction cold water bath.

Sit in SIDDHA ASANA and try to do ASHWINI MUDRA ten times in the

morning and repeat 10 times in the evening. Daily increase by a

count of 10 to reach a target of 60 and then stop

Continue this practice of doing 60 times twice a day in siddha

asana and continue taking cold water bath. Avoid any films, songs

dramas etc., which will excite the passion. Now comes the most

important thing and that is control of tongue. Tongue is the rope

by which many or rather majority hang themselves by speaking too

much and eating too much. Therefore it is said if you can conquer

your tongue you can conquer yourself. You should not only be a

vegetarian but preferably fruitarian.

 

From amoeba to a whale in water and from an ant to an elephant on

land does anybody cook? No except human being? which is the main

reason for all miseries specially physical. So to convert get

yourself away from the city temporarily and live in a naturopathy

centre and acclamatise yourself to eat raw food. For more details

on fruitarian do visit www.fruitarian.com though they also state

that fruitarian can live a healthy sexual life but when you do

ashwini mudra in siddha asana and take cold water bath you can

gently learn to control the urges. Lastly try to learn to do

KAAMJAAYI hasta mudra which will be icing on the cake and cherry

at the top.

Mahatma Gandhi in his autobiography cleared everyone`s doubt. The great soul

tried celibacy by keeping his neice by his side in bed and controlling his brain

with Sri Ram . But said Mahatma " a voluptuous dream " ' always disturbed his

dream .

Askalana brahmachary does not exist. He has to assuage his desire through

some other way. Soldiers in non family stations are given hard drill as a

substitute.

Brahmcharya must come naturally, forced Brahmcharya is hardly any

value, as it fail the 1st time you losen your control.

 

Jitendarji, getting a wife seems to be best solution. Sex desire has

many causes, one of them Karma. If your friend is destined to bring

more children into world, he will never control desire, not matter how

great a Hath Yogi he becomes.

 

There is no need for wife/husband to be spiritual. If yourself are

spiritual, your power must be enough to change them. If its not, you

should first make yourself stronger spiritually, & not worry about

spouse. As we had a discussion some time ago, the only person you can

change is yourself.

Suppression of desires is of NO USE, as Shantnu told.

 

Control is different form Suppression.

 

Losing the desire is different form Control.

 

and only Losing the desire is the one which can make any progress.

 

So, how did i conquer this desire.. When i wa sin school. though i was

reading bhagvath gita and other things.. I used to forcefully control,

but used to feel like seeing other girls, and anythign that was faminine.

 

But tehre was one thing in my heart, Always i Loved Lord Hari more

than anything esle, this is one god gift to me..

 

and naturally i respected him and wanted to know more and more, and in

the process of knowing hari, i got to know so many things about this

nature, and i got to know firmly, that this was duality , and was

illution, and also got to know, that the spirit soul is neither

feminine nor masculine, and the nature is Ultimate faqminity andf the

Lord is teh Pratamah and Nija Purusha.

 

Than Hari also told us that we need to treat everythign equally, as

everythign is part of his own cosmic body, and treat them as the part

of there own body...

 

but after all this understanding , my sexual desires was almost

completely reduces, but was not free..

 

and many years of deepening of this understanding , now has almost

made me, lose this desire.. Now it seems not that much interesting, as

there is no " Mystery " in this, as i know why, how and what of it..

 

some of the changes i faced after almost losing this desire, my

radiance increased, people started liking me, and specially girls

started speaking to me, as if they know that i have no desire, ... i

mean to tell, they were very comfortable...

 

I am still amazed at the capability they have , in finding out if a

male near them is desirous or not... its almost spontanous, my sisters

are here, and they will be able to acknoledge this..

and smell of my body changes, and i never smelled bad, like that bad

sweat smell like beofre, even if i sweat .. there is no bad smell, and

this is true... ABSOLUTELY no bad smelll.

 

and clear understanding.. and increase in my understanding, though i

do not know the reason, i thought the sexual energy is being utilized

for increased nourishment of brain and hence .. this was the thing i

believed..

 

 

BUT STILL i am not able to conquer ANOTHER DESIRE... apart form this

sexual desire... THERE IS ANOTHER DESIRE...

 

that is of COMPANIONSHIP.. i feel i need someone to share life and i

need someone to Just be with me..

 

 

This is one thing where even now i feel i am not having control.. and

i just supress this, but i am nmopt able to truely control it..

 

 

 

I just wrote this because thought this may give him real life

scenario, and may help him...

 

 

basically That knowledge and its real understanding and FINALLY THE

BELIEF YOU BUILDS IN THIS KNOWLEDGE OF NON-DUALITY .. not just saying

is the key...

 

and if he is nto able to do this... than he should satisfy his desires

and come back when he is no more interested..

 

 

but i doubt if it is so easily possible to get Such a wife ...

 

difficult isnt it Brothers.... what you all telll..
