Guest guest
Dear Kumar, Please take what deito has told you and substitute krsna with Shiva and para vasudeva with parashiva... Then substitute the shiva he has mentioned with shankara and you have the same equation. Frankly..all divisions are people's ego at work. How does it matter if God is called krsna or shiva or anything for that matter. Just that people tend to become obsessive and possessive about the forms of god they pray to and start fighting. all these are hinderances to progress and we would do ourselves a huge favour by staying out of all this. if you like a particular form of God, please feel free to assume that that form is greatest. But please remember that every one else too has the same freedom. Love Bala...
Guest guest
This very question is against the philosophy of Sanatan Dharma...and is more like Abrahmic religions claim of " My God " is superior to " Your God " The Turiya or Brahm manifest as this Universe and upto Ishwar Tattwa all manifestations are beyond Avidya and Maya...hence no one is greater or smaller. They are different names of the same Excellence ! Below Ishwar Tattwa, the realms of Maya and Avidya starts and there you can differentiat the demi-gods in different categories..the nearer to Ishwar Tattwa..the superior he is. Like Indra is superior to all other devas..etc Shri Bhagwatam says..the one who distinguishes betwen the Trinity (brahma/vishnu/mahesh) is ignorant. Guest guest
Yes the structure is important, and name can be any, or many.. The Great lord is also called " Sahashra Namna " meaning one being called with thousands of names. yuo can take him as which ever name you like, but Please knwo that they are the same, when someone calls him by other name. as far as deities is concerned, yes there is a defined structure, as of who is operating under whom etc. For example, sun and other stars operate under control of dhruva, Indra under Vishnu, Kubera reports to Brahma etc etc. This is like a team of divine devas for managing this universe, and this is replicated in every universe. and also it is not about which god is greatest, that is against dharma , because at last there is only one god, so it is all about, how god manifests and understanding this manifestation leads to moksha, but not living in the thoughts controlled by illution. -- Deito Harirnama Harirnama Harirnama Kevalam. , " Balachander Govindaraghavan " <balachand wrote: > please feel free to assume that that form is greatest.
