Guest guest
Dear kumar, listen to what i have understood in whole, para-Vasudeva or Krsna,, who is not perceivable by our mortal senses neither comprehendable by limited intillegence in his para-vasudeva form is the greatest, and many forms flow from him as required. He si the source of everything. My Understanding is this . from him, or para-vasudeva --> comes maha-vishnu in deep trance to create universe. from maha-vishnu --> comes vishnu, brahma and shiva for the three functions of each universe. and also other deities depending on there functions etc... Lord bless. may Hari's grace be on you. -- Deito Harirnama Harirnama Harirnama Kevalam. , s_kumar_12345 <no_reply wrote: > > Which of these Gods is the greatest, which came first? Guest guest
Dear Kumarsir, Everyone is greatest. They all are one. When people praise they ista devam, they are the greatest for them. Ista devam becomes the mother. The mother helps and guide us in all. Thus we love our mother the most in whatever sutiation it is. For you both your parents made hard work and sacrifies their wishes for you to grow and make your future well. Can you able to say who is greatest in your parents. You cannot say it, because both your mom and dad made you and both have done the best for you in your life. Just like it is with the god. When the ista devam helps, they are happy and they say, it's ista devam who is everything to them.So everyone is greatest. Sarvamaatha. Guest guest
> I have one confusion- which God is the greatest? All these are one and the same ie Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma and Shakti. If someone says that any one is higher than others be sure that he is foolish or unreliable. As for the scriptures take it in another way-if any scriptures says one of them is greatest it automatically means that all of them are greatest. The scriptures also describe again and again how Vishnu, Shiva, Shakti worship one another. Its an indication by God himself that we must not consider this form comparable to that one. I Hinduism there are numerous forms and incarnations of God. But all of them are one and the same.We should be happy that God has given us so many chances of seeing him in various forms and leelas/sports. >God and Hinduism can be understood through heart and not through theories I think. regards
Guest guest
Kumarji, there is an infinitely huge state of awareness(God, Brahm, shiv), that our mind cannot interpret. The mind sees parts of it, & takes them for the whole. All the Gods, including Vishnu, Shiv, Krishna are Personalities of 1 huge unknown Divine Force. We can interact with these personalities, & treat them as supreme, but they only represent 1 possible side of the Divine. The original Vedas/Upanishads knew this. So for example, there is only 1 Being(called Prajapati, amongst other things), that creates the Universe, maintains then destroys it. The names Brahma Vishnu Mahesh apply to which of these activities he is doing. But in later texts like Puranas, all this was garbled. Vishnu & Mahesh became separate Gods, spent their time disagreeing wit each other. The Puranas were written for simple people who couldnt understand Vedas directly. But to assume they are superior to Vedas/Upanishads is a mistake. We can worship different personalities of the Divine, but we must always remember who created them, the Soul that exists beyond them. love shantnu
Guest guest
hindu philosophy advices the devotee of a particular god should not have alternate option like god in equal status. simplified it say if you are devotee of lord shiva, then lord shiva is the ultimate god for you. your choice is yours and another ones choice is his or her. again the choice of god depends on the personality of person, who gets clicked with the respected god. This is to avoid the dual mindness, and therefore illusion. The potential of different gods are same & thats is the truth at which level all the universe becomes one in one. --- s_kumar_12345 <no_reply > wrote: I have one confusion- which God is the greatest? ______________________________\ ____ Catch up on fall's hot new shows on TV.
