The stong shaktipaat is done by an enlightened guru and in this shaktipaat, disciple sees the truth and his whole life is changed. Vivekananda, Angulimaal are its examples. Medium shaktipaat, does not show truth, but cleans the big blockages which are hindering the path of sadhaka. This can be from divine or from a guru (even if guru is not enlighted, but higher soul). After medium shaktipaat, the sadhaka's progress becomes very fast and he can soon see the truth. Mild shakti paat, is either from a guru or from a divine or due to our own sadhna. And most of us have this mild shaktipaat during sadhna, japa or sankirtan. In this mild shkatipaat, Kundalini may release sudden flashes of pure energy or Divine may send pure energy through head to the body. Some symptoms of such shaktipaat are :- 1- sudden termbling of body 2- whole body becomes very hot or very cold 3- feeling of sudden lightness and floating 4- ants moving in spine 5- burning sensation in spine 6- sudden burst of weeping or laughing or dancing without any reason 7- Feeling of seeing deity for a moment There may be some other similar symptoms ...but always after such shaktipaat one is blissful and feels light and joyful for some time. Mild shaktipat helps in cleaning the chakras and gives a great help in spiritual progress.... it can happen with Japa meditation, vipasana, sankirtan, or simply while thinking about god. Will you all please tell about your experience, and if you felt that the mild shaktipaat happened to you and how u feel it helped in progress Aum
