Guest guest
Other religions always make fun of hindus that they worship penis and vagina in shiva linga which is shown as a phallus in vagina. I have seen dozens of such questions on YA. What is the correct definition of shiva linga and how can we counter this blame. ansuya
Guest guest
Dear Ansuya and Spiritual Friends, Om Namah Shivaya In many books and heads is complete wrong explanations of Shiva Linga. Shortest about me - Last 21 years I practiced Shivayoga, and several thousands Ishta (Kriya) Lingas give for sadhana (free of charge), and have authorization for Linga Diksha, but I not Guru. I send you several words about real meaning Shiva Linga. 1. Shiva Linga present union Truth and Will, or Linga is God. 2. Linga is Highest Symbol which we can accept, this is inside and outside form all universe together and each separate. Universe is Maha Linga. 3. Shiva Linga is union static and dynamic state of consciousness. This is crucial point! 3. Shiva Linga is first and highest form - nothing before union consciousness on each level, in form linga. Without this form nothing in any direction: creation, free from delusion,.. 4. Shiva Linga is Highest form for purest Bhakti. Shivayoga is and Bhaktiyoga. Bhakti is as Divine Key! Bhakti is first and last! Bhakti is all! Only Bhakti is enough. Six Bhaktis: Six Lingas---------------Six Angas---------------Six Bhaktis Acaralinga---------------Bhakta------------------Srddhabhakti Gurulinga----------------Mahesa-----------------Nisthabhakti Sivalinga-----------------Prasadi-----------------Avadhanabhakti Jangamalinga-----------Pranalingi----------------Anubhavabhakti Prasadalinga------------Sharana----------------- Anandabhakti Mahalinga----------------Aikya------------------Samarasabhakti 5. Union Linga (God), Guru (Divine Radiant Person as Linga which is from deepest radiant Inner Light) and Jangama (Dynamic Divine Consciousness - Immeasurably Pulse Form Linga with deepest Inner Light and deepest Inner Sound) is soul highest goal. 6. Only Divine Person, have Divine Aura which is form Linga. 7. Only inside Linga is Divine Person - or - Inside Ishta Linga is Shiva Lingam. 8. Shiva Lingam present soul which practice Shivayoga, or Highest presentation in Linga is Shiva in Shivayoga position. 9. Om is Linga inside which is soul who practice Shivayoga. Not difference between Om and Linga - all manifest and unmanifest involved first Linga. 10. Universe create Shiva on the left palm as Mahalinga, and look permanent in this Linga with full love, give all: and soul, and all what will be necessary for soul. This is and position in Shivayoga. 11. Linga is real connection through all types consciousness - all types divine concentrations (216 samyamas). Shivayoga is and Samyama Yoga. Guest guest
> Other religions always make fun of hindus that they worship penis >and vagina in shiva linga which is shown as a phallus in vagina. Why just other religons, most Hindus think the same! Ling means defining characterstic, not penis. So a mans ling is his penis, an elephants ling is its big tusks etc. Shiv , the Universal Conciousness( & not the God of death which the Puranas have reduced him too) has no Ling, as he by definition beyond charactersics & qualities. The closest thing to him is our subtle body, which is shaped like an elongated oval, or simply, the Shiv Ling. By worshipping the Shiv Ling, we are worshipping our subtle body, not some penis! The Ling connected with Yoni has another deep symbolism- Parashiv the pure conciousness, divides into 2- Shiv the Conciousness with a desire to create world, & His power, Shakti. Shakti can create the Universe, but the worlds are useless without conciousness, so Shiv enters her, & the worlds become alive. So the embrace of Shiv/Shakti creates the world, symbolised in the Shiv Ling in Yoni. There is nothing sexual about this, as all this happens before the universe is created, & there is no duality. In our body, there are 3 Shivlings. The 1st is at Muladhar, & is smoky, dirty & ill defined. Most people live here, & their identity with God is also ill defined. The 2nd Ling is at Agya Chakra, & is black & clear. This is the one we worship, as at this stage we are clear about our relation to God, & we become can see the World clearly for what it is- pure awareness. But at this stage theres stil duality- the 3rd Shivling is at Sahasra Chakra(crown), & is golden in colour. This Shivling isnt worshipped, as we become Shiv when we reach that level. love Shantnu
Guest guest
I do not know much about you, but i saw the authority.. that means one which comes to a pure hearted.. whatever may be the range of purity.. That is what makes one bother.. for example if you wrote something, i started analyzing it and somethings bothered me, which is proof of your sadhana, as even i am a sadhaka.. when fake sadhakas speak , usually laugh and you are not often bothered.. isn't it.. Hope to know more, as i can interrelate things with what i know and understand what and how and who etc.. And i loved this line, as i found it true.. but no way means that i don't respect other paths, but yes Bakthi is enough as you told.. > Bhakti is as Divine Key! Bhakti is first and last! Bhakti is all! > Only Bhakti is enough. And also forgot to welcome, as i was immersed in analysing what you had spoken.. deep indeed. -- Deito Harirnama Harirnama Harirnama Kevalam. , " Branko Ivatovic " <branko.ivatovic wrote:
