Guest guest
Once guruji ordered one of his dear chelas to go to the mountain top and do Dhayana and Tapas. He asked him not to come back till he is allowed by guruji. Chela had full faith in guruji and sat on the mountain top and started his tapas. So after some days, he saw some thing and woke up in a bliss. He wrote a small poem :- O guru, O god incarnation you have transformed my life with your unconditional love and guidance today i am full of bliss and three vices (Kaam, Krodha & Moha) cant touch me i bestow all my lives on your lotus feet, o guru He sent the poem across to guruji through a cowherd boy. Guruji read the poem, smiled and jolted below the poem " You are Idiot " and sent the poem back to his chela. When chela read guruji's comments, he was very sad and he lost his dhyana and ran down to meet guruji and blasted, " guruji cant you see, how loving words i used for you...i made you like god and was thankful to you...and look what you did...you called me IDIOT...is this your unconditional love " Guruji smiled and said, " You boasted in your poem - Three vices cant touch me. you were so much distrubed by my three simple words " You are idiot " ....how can you claim to have conquered three great vices ? " " You were so much disturbed that you forgot my orders and ran down to argue with me? " Now sit down in the ashram and start it all over again...and the disciple with a hung face...went upto the hill to restart !!! AUM

Ha ha - we can all be idiots, fools, hypocrites, sinners, there is no doubt about that. We are only human after all. I dont even want to contemplate enlightenment until my grandson is on here posting questions about his nutty grandmother! Maybe then I'll give it some thought, if Im ever worthy. With love & many idiosyncrasies Farah
