Guest guest
Dear brothers & sisters A dear friend of mine has had a brain tumour removed. She has now been told it is an agressive cancer & must have 6 weeks of chemo & radio therapy. I feel so sad - she is only in her 30's, with a wonderful husband & 2 beautiful young children. Please offer me guidance as to what I can do for her from a spiritual perspective - any chants that are relevant maybe? or anything, anything.... Im sending her huge love & positive thoughts in my meditation, but there must be more I can do. Hoping you can help With love Farah
Guest guest
My Dear Sister, The hearing or chanting ( in both cases , internal hearing of this mantra using the internal subtle Hearing sense in Brain, not the external ones ) of the following mantra's are particularly useful, for bodily cures. Having said that, Just if someone Chants a sloka, with dedication, Then it is not difficult to achieve this. And when you achieve this, it seems as if The mantra is repeated again, inside your mind and you are hearing it again, as if through ears , though n outer voice is generating that mantra. Did you get the feel what i am trying to convey, lot of people understand what i am willing to tell you, and if i am not good at conveying this., as i am usually, please help Farah wiht conveying this. This is Dhanvantari mantra Om Namo Bhagavate Maha Sudharshana Vasudevaya Dhanvantaraye; Amrutha Kalasa Hasthaaya Sarva Bhaya Vinasaya Sarva Roka Nivaranaya Thri Lokya Pathaye Thri Lokya Nithaye Sri Maha Vishnu Swarupa Sri Dhanvantri Swarupa Sri Sri Sri Aoushata; chakra Narayana Swaha The next one is " Maha Mritunjaya Mantra " ( special note, this needs to be repeated continuously, and it builds up its effectiveness, with the unbroken chain , of this mantra repeated inside, without A misalignment in thought. also kindly see my notes below. ) Om tryambakam yajamahe Sugandhim pushti-vardhanm Urva-rukamiva bandhanan Mrityor mukshiya mamritat These internal vibrations, will align Lot of misalignmenst, IN internal workign of physical body and also the suibtle body. These mantras are ultimately generated , as replica of intution of subtle senses, which i am not capable of explaining at this time. But when it comes to MahaMrityunjaya Mantra, the person will have to knwo its meaning, to get the inner intution... and i am sad to say this cannot be achieved immediately. Hope this helps My Dear Sister, -- Deito Harirnama Harirnama Harirnama Kevalam. , " janfarah_strongspirit " <janfarah_strongspirit wrote: > > A dear friend of mine has had a brain tumour removed. Guest guest
Dear Strong Spirit, I am sorry to hear.My prayers for your friend. You can ask her to say " gayatri Mantra " . Sure it will help her. Tell her to say in the morning, before lunch and before going to sleep. This will sure help her. I belive. But she has to have the faith that this mantra will sure cure her.Only the faith in that mantra will help her. I will also pray for her. Convey our wishes to her. Sarvamaatha. Guest guest
Dear Deito, If possible can you record this sloga in windows movie maker( so you cannot have to surround sound while recording. i.e., distrubances i mean). so everyone can hear how to pronouce it if you upload it with the help of moderator if permitted. Or can upload in coolgoose ( i think it's free) So can download from there to know about it.Can you tell us the meaning of the slogas you said here.Thanks. Sarvamaatha. I am not familiar with either of these mantras & do not know the correct pronunciation, punctuation, pitch etc for these. I will probably ask my chanting teacher for help with these, as to chant them incorrectly would not be good Im sure. Do you have the translation or meaning of them? Are you saying it is sufficient for me to chant them for my friend? This is what I was hoping, as she would not be able to chant them. I think I understand what you are explaining about hearing mantras 'in the head' after you have finished chanting. I get this all the time - if I chant, or listen to my chanting cds, I can hear them over & over again in my head long after the cd is switched off - as if there is an internal cd player playing them over & over in the background of my mind. (Not until last night, though, had I ever heard it so loud & clear like the sound was filling the whole room!) I can definitely chant Gayatri mantra for her, no problem, but she would not be able to do this herself. I am hoping that me chanting for her, on her behalf, is sufficient - am I correct? If I had to chant 20 times a day for her, I would do this without question. One more question - if I chant Gayatri Mantra, for example, I could just be chanting it as an everyday task. In order for this chant to be 'for her' is it important for her to be in my thoughts, or do I have to vocally dedicate this chant to her in some way? Otherwise how will its benefits be directed to her? Does anyone have any other ideas? What can we do when our loved ones are very ill? I agree with dear Aum that eventually it is in God's hands, but for now I am determined to do all I can - whatever that may be - from looking after her children, to cooking for her, to chanting & meditating for her. For the next few months she is my number one priority. Any more thoughts or ideas would be welcomed. With love & thanks Farah
Guest guest
Sure Mayandi, My Pleasure, today evening, or so, i will try recording , as The purna Sandhya , atleast 311 Nimishas before having food. Also it is todl, that we have to do shuddi, of our throat, and also mortal intillegence associated and connect to the throat chakra before that, and i do this anytime, when i feel emotional about Hari. Because i drive those emotions and use it to establish myself in sattva and to settle and make my Kritaka Buddhi dormant. and hence invoking this mantra from pure Sattva. I am telling this here, so that who ever can follow, can take advantage of this. But this is in no way means that , if a person dosent know to do all this, and just chants it is not good. even if the mantra is chanted without all these, still it will have its effect, may not be Most efficient thats all. So i will record at this exact tiem, as accurately as possible and upload it. Guest guest
Dear Strong Spirit, Best i would say is, More than you saying to her in time. Best record all mp3 in a ipod or any handy mp3 player and let her hear from an microphone. So she can hear all those slogas repeatedly. This may help her cell to give energy and destroy the cancer cells. By this way you can also save time in taking care. While hearing tell her to listen those songs and enjoy it.I belive she will back and have a lovely life. Love and prayers, Sarvamaatha. I have looked at these mantras but there are some that do not have the sanskrit in phonetics & I cannot read sanskrit. Also the ones that do, do not have the punctuation. I will e mail my chanting teacher & see if he can send me some - also the Dhanvantari Mantra & Mrtyunjaya Maha Mantra that brother Deito advised. Farahji, rather than doing 20 mantras, better to do one & focus on that. In your case, since in your dream you have already been guided as to which one is best, there is no need to look further. There is no shortage to Mantras- its better to concentrate energy on one, rather than dissipate it on 10. love Shantnu

I will concentrate my energies on Bhavanyastakam as this dream was so powerful, it must have been a sign. I can also chant Gayatri Mantra which is no problem & only a short one, but also powerful. Many thanks to you all for your advice, love & kindness on this. I really appreciate it very much, please have no doubt of that.
