Dear Jitinder, If you feel the person asking the question is

asking either to make fun, or to argue, or to be-little god...then

there is no need to explain and convince. It is not our job to save

God from disgrace....we are too small for that

If someones asks this with a clear intent to know more about the

lord then we can tell that God when incarnates, he has a specific

purpose before him,.. .. and he will do anything to fulfil that

purpose.

The moral and ethics are temporary rules made by us...and if we

expect god to follow those morals and ethics...we are stupids.

God is beyond morals, ethics and Maya. What he can see we can

not. Like killing of Vali. Those who are killed by god, get

Moksha. Vali was due for Moksha but due to a little sin, he was in

the body. shri Ram took pity on him and liberated his soul from

that ugly body.

We can not explain this in logics...because where biggest Gyanis

fail to recognised God, simple Bhakta can recognise him easily due

to love.

Similarly, Shri Ram knew Sita was Adi-shakti herself, and is beyond

sins and impurities....but there were people around him ...in his

kingdom, who did not know the secret of Ram and Sita...

They may have thought that Sita was with Ravana, so may be she was

impure...they might not have said it openly but might have thought

in mind.

Shri Ram, to clear all people of their doubts asked Sita to give

Agni-pariksha....because he knew Sita will come out pure..and it

will satisfy those around him.

God's leelas can not be understood with logics....if we have open

mind, spiritual thoughts and love in heart, we can at least find

some explanation.

Many idiots asks me many questions on Krishna's 60,000 queens,

his love affairs, Ram's wrong action... I just smile because i know

they are just trying to be over smart.

god does not need us to explain for him...but for our own

satisfication we can assure ourselves with such explanations.

Problem is,why do we try to use our mind & our cultural prejudices to

judge people from a different time, & of a Higher Spiritual nature

than us?

Ram had to look at Karma of Bali, Sugreev, Hanuman, all the monkeys,

as well as his own & families Karma. Based on all that, he decided to

kill Bali. Maybe Bali had some very good Karma that he would die at

Gods hands.

Regarding Sita, Ram lived in a time where the society was more

important than the individual. This concept is individual is higer

than society is a western one, & fairly new. Even now, countries like

Japan, Singapore dont believe in it. Japanese will go out of their way

to keep society working.

Today, if we live in times when the individual is safe, society is

strong, it is due to people like Ram who sacrificed their own conforts

for the common good.

It doesnt matter what Ram thought- if the society felt that Sita wasnt

good enough to be queen, she had to leave.

Compare this with our " democracy " where politicians " decide " what will

be good for the voters.

That reminds me some lines of a beautiful song

Tere kiye ko hum kya jane

Jo tujhsa ho woh tujhe jane

Tere kiye ko hum kya deven

Bhale Bure ka naam

Means

We (with our under developed budhhi) can't understand why You did

this or that. Only he who is just like you can understand this. We

can't classify your deeds as bood or bad

OM GURUVAY NAMAH
