Can we see god with our eyes ?

When god incarnates as krishna or Ram people can see him, but can we

see him here with physical eyes ? HOW?

I am not talking of saints and prophets but God himself

Illution should have a source, Dear Ansuya.

So teh source si the real one.. and we are seeing the illution.

To see the source, there are many Requirements.

But , The first one being, able to Move out of this illution.

Hope, I was able to help you in findign your answers.

>Yes you can see God.But to see him you require thirst, pain and

immeasurable love so much that without seeing him it becomes

difficult to survive. You can see him with physical eyes then even if

you are not too spiritual or completely spiritual. Shabri, Nishadh,

Sumitra etc all these people had one thing to thier credit- the

desire to see and love him.

You have asked a very important and amazing question but many people

will disagree that God can be seen with physical eyes. But God can be

seen only you must have those " bhagya " or deeds or that love for

which he will reveal himself and his leelas to you because he does

that to very few people.God is all grace even if we arent worthy he

gives us a lot.

Anusuyaji, depends on what you mean by " God " . If God the Universal

Spirit, then by definition that is beyond the senses.

But most people dont worship God as the Nirgun Brahm.

When God comes to physical world, he can be seen with physical eyes.

In the Astral world, God can be seen with 3rd eye open(agya chakra).

The Human forms of God(vishnu, shiv, ganesh etc) live in the astral world.

In the causal world, God is seen as a Golden light, & felt as great

bliss.

Later even this vanishes as one merges into Nirgun Brahm.

Dear Aradhna

you mentioned all those who saw Shri Ram. I already wrote in my post

that i am not talking of incarnations of God.

I am talking of here and now. Is it possible to see God ?

Dear Deito

as aradhana said shabri saw God, but she was not out of illusion, she

was a simple woman who loved Rama. So i think removal of illusion can

not be a good condition by example of shabri etc. can you tell more on

this?

Thanks for answering though

At the very first moment, Dear Ansuya i understood your question and

hence gave you the answer.

Sabri was not out of illusion , So because of her love, God

presented her , in one of his incarnation ( thouhh it is

nondifferent from him )

But what you asked is to see Lord in his real Form, in nitya

Vibuthi, which is even after the Nirgun Brahman, or the divine

Light, that the soul sees.

This needs to pass though everyhting else, and reach the nitya

Viuthi To see the lord in his divine from, as described By Brahma

and others.

Hope i am able to convey.

god is within everyone, which means everyone is within

god

when some one wants to see god by his own eyes, he can

do it only when there is duality between the god and

the devotee.

Such god is one of the avatara or presentation is some

form of the true nature of god. Then the devotee sees

the god in particular form of his choice.

This is representation of true nature of god. The gos

is again in the form as well as the devotee.

When the devotee himself surrenders to the god and

experinces nothing but godlyness, & there is no one

exists for him except god, he can say he have

experinced god otheriwse he has seen the god.

>No Anusuya dear I never meant that you can see only incarnations

with your physical eyes. Anusuya seeing God isnt so rare in bhakti

when you truely love God.One need not be free of illusions or a

brahmn gyaani to see a form of lord. See for example even before

Dhruva,Atri muni etc God appeared even though they were not liberated

or purn gyaanis or even very great bhaktas for that matter.Dhruva

initially wanted to ask for only material gains.God can appear but

how and when it depends upon your sadhna and his decesion. Even in

kaliyuga God appears before his bhaktas though its extremely

difficult and rare. There is nothing that isnt possible in bhakti. For

example there may be an incarnation of God before your eyes but like

Duryodhana you may not be able to see him because of your own lack of

bhakti but there may be someone who has never seen anything except

idols of God yet God appears before him only because he has thirst

for the darshans.

Desiring to see God is common for bhaktas and is very possible but

for that you need genuine deep desire even though you may be a sinner

God will appear not necessarily as he appeared before Shabri or

Dhruva but in any way- who knows

Dear Aradhana, this is my question. Suppose I am a bhaktini of Shri

Krishna, can Krishna appear before me like i see him in fotos, and

will i be able to see him with my physical eyes and touch him with

physical hands ?

I never heard it is possible. do you have any example ?

Love ya

Anusuyaji, its nice you are asking so many questions- many peoples

doubts are being cleared. Most people are shy, & think their ego will

hurt if they ask questions. :)

Have you seen the Matrix- a movie screen version of Sankhya Yoga?

" Neo, if you take what you see and feel to be real, then they are just

neuro signals travelling to you brain- which can be easily faked " .

So, yes you can see & touch God- but it will only happen in heightened

state of conciousness or Samadhi.

love

>Dear Anusuya namaste.

Yes you can see Krishna with physical eyes as for touching i dont know

but its possible... very possible..but for the chosen few maybe.

Everything is possible in bhakti. Right now I cant think of an example

but its possible.
