Guest guest
Hello to all. As my title shows, I would like to show my progress in my spiritual journey. First off, it is easier to silence the mind, a feat that may last an hour until the world overcomes my being with distractions. And now, I have arrived at a standstill in my meditations. When I meditate on my heart, I see these Whirlpools of nothingness in a white background, as one would see rotating water down a drain yet is focused at a singularity. Is this the source of human " want " , since it always consumes and never conserves? What is also interesting, I had a vision of an ark which some say is my soul's vessel, fairing off against a Typhoon on a sea of consciousness which is nearing a Maelstrom filled with lightning and energy.... Well, that is all that I feel that must be known. If you have insight of what I have witnessed, please share.

My dear, the mystec experiences are very important in spiritual journey and these visions are certainly affected by conditioning of our mind. Hence not two persons in the world will ever have identical visions. But their visions may fall into certain broad lined categories. Like the whirlpool thing... i have heard it from many sadhaka. the other day I and bala were discussion something similar. The fact is that our mind gets some signals from our higherself and gives them to brain for transcribing. Brain has a limited memory and can translate those signals in understandable terms as per its limited knowledge.. hence each person has different visions and different dreams. Whirlpool vision is I think the subtle body when tries to get out of the physical plane/body...we see the intermediate space like a whirlpool. Some see it as a long tunnel with light at the end. Many sadhaka also see the rainbow in different versons. Like i saw rainbow once but all the colors were different...as i never saw those colors on earth. We have to learn to translate our visions and mystical experiences w.r.t. our conditioning of mind... and try to see the higher signal coming from the real self With love Aum
Guest guest
Dearest co traveller... Nothingness always manifests as our own consciousness and an experience of it is always in singular.... Never against the backdrop of anything... My humble suggestion to you... Visions are not the truth... at most they can be an indicator...Do not bother about them.... They can be huge distractors... Continue with your meditation...if it makes you more tolerant..more forgiving.. less egoistic, more loving..., and if it infuses bliss in you... then you are on the right path..... Also please remember... your experiences are your own... Never share them for the sake of showing others your progress... it is counter productive and can hinder your progress... Love Bala....
