what is the concept of agni samadhi , Arjuna said in mahabharat if He

would not be able to take revenge of Abhimanyu then He will take agni

samadhi

 

similarly what is jal samadhi

 

what are the results of the above samadhi ie where these people go who

takes agni or jal samadhi

The agni & jal samadhi was a concept used by Siddhas and

incarnations to leave the body.

 

Because death can not touch, siddhas and avtaars, they

intentionally ended their body to complete the nature's circle.

 

In Agni samadhi.. the Kundalini's fire is invoked into the fire

element, which makes the body into handful of ash...Mata Sati used

this Agni Samadhi when Shiva was insulted by her father. But in her

case shiva revived her body and took it on his shoulders and

wandered (another story)

 

In Jal Samadhi, the siddha enters the water and invokes all the

elements of body into water element, hence nothing remains of his

body. Lord Rama took this samadhi.

 

I dont know if Arjune meant real agni samadhi or just committing

suicide by entering into fire.
