ARTICLE OF HINDU FAITH -CONSERVING NATURE.

Dear devotees, It occurred to my mind that wild life preservation, keeping

ecological balance,and protecting animals birds and trees is an article of faith

for Hindus.

This morning after performing VIGHNESHWAR pooja I had realised that

21 types of leaves flowers and fruits are to be offered in worship. All the

21 varities are not available in the same type of land.So preserving flowers

fauna,foliage all over is needed.

Hidu dieties travel on

Vishnu -Garuda (eagle)

Lakshmi -owl

Saraswati-swan

Shiva -bull

Kumaraswamy-peacock

Vighneswar--mouse

Indra -elephant

and so on.

Hinduism therefore protect nature as a matter of FAITH.

Dear jiragavarapu,

 

Yes you have raised an important point. Hinduism is perhaps the

only religion, which cares for the environments. Our wise sages,

told many stories to help common people understand the value of our

environment.

 

Many animals were thus protected as they were mentioned as gods'

vehicles... many trees were protected, rivers were protected...all

by linking them to religion so that a common man without having

knowledge of environmental balance, keep them safe.

 

Unfortunately, the modern man has gone away from religion and

thus has lesser respect for environment...but mother nature is

watching and is reacting back with Tsunamis, earthquakes, warming,

and disturbance of seasons.

Dear Swamy, Thanks you very much for bringing this to all our view.

 

Always it is wise to treat the root cause, because if root is watered ,

all trees leave healthy.

 

So, if people get more and more conscious, and get more understanding

of Lord, their karma , and the state of Lord and his nature.

 

Than automatically, not just flora and fauna, many other problems will

be automatically solved, in a very short time, and in a very efficient

way.

 

So, Lets all advance in the concept of the Lord. a Single Phrase "

Ahato Brahma Gignyasa " will lead to a real advanced society in my

terms. So, the real solution to every problem, is We need to make

everyone God Aware. if one has god conscious, then he i Automatically

Conscious of society, ecosystem - both micro and macro cosm, and knows

his responsibilities at best.
