Hi,

Really, I thought that my budding life in Hinduism was really

inspiring me, particularly on my mat. Recently I have found myself

not even getting joy on my mat even though I dedicate my practices

very fully in bhakti. Can anyone point me to a text/sutra that would

be helpful in a time of doubt? Also, a good solid text that would

give me better roots.

I have lots of beads of information but feel that with more solid

roots I would feel more free to be who I am at this moment. I'm sure

everyone has been where I am at some point. Also, keep in mind that I

am coming from a Catholic tradition that I walked away from about 6

years ago so I am still trying to come out of the ashes. I do not

hate the tradition I was brought up in but it bound me a lot. Any

texts, japa, etc suggestions to help/better ground me would be much

appreciated. Thank you! Om shanti (I'm seeking it but maybe I'm

trying too hard)

With tears and hope,

Laurie (yogini)
